Having prob with Discord. Desktop ap no longer works. Did uninstall, download, and it throws an error. And I get a never ending loop of 'Checking for update, downloading update 1' that doesn't stop
Any thoughts on that?

System Restore worked yesterday, same thing happened after win update this AM, see above. Desktop ap will not load cannot be initiated without throwing error
Oh Great. I'm no.2 in pain in the arse catagory. Just like real life...
Just a thought, I did three finger salute and stopped all programs associated with discord and was able to initialize the .exe after that. At least I think that was what 'solved' the problem. Ap now on desktop once again. (Later that same day...) I disarmed the autostart in the WINDOWS tool so Discort won't open at startup. Discord now starts from double clicking icon. Hopefully that will have fixed the audio mysteries that plagued me earlier today.
Is there a helpist available at the moment? (Later) Have an appointment with an operative. OK, going to have a beer with an amigo. I'll check back later.
