Just curious about the Q post noting the Emergency Broadcast System test and how it might relate to the "football" that is always with the POTUS. Has the New England Patriot's Ball Boy visited the White House lately? The Secret Service might want to check that "football" to assure that it has not been deflated.

Here is another meaning for "D5". It could also apply in certain contexts.

Good Day All. I did not know it at the time, but Black Mirror was kind enough to record the presentation that I did on Freedom Rings. It covered how to get started and complete any written composition. Here is the link. I sincerely hope that this can help those who are inspired to do this but presently don't know how to begin, fill in and finish their work. Sincere thanks again to Black Mirror for archiving this for us.https://youtu.be/UQar9h4NeFk

Yo 8_Sideways ! You might also take a look at laws and regulations aimed at restricting one group's basic civil and human rights as compared to others. Isn't there a recent one called HR-12 (or something like that) restricting what churches can "teach" their followers and members? Gary mentioned it this morning on his show.

@Pamphlet Anon I hope that I was not "out of line" in pressing Larry on the "Who is really running Iran?" question during Pat's show, but his answer seemed to be a 'non-answer' dance around. Of course, there may be an "answer" in his avoidance.

*VIRTUAL WINDOWS RUNNING UNDER LINUX* If you have a relatively fast 64 Bit computer with 16 MB or RAM or more, you might want to consider running Windows "Virtually" under Linux. (I personally prefer Ubuntu Linux Server). This has both security and anti-virus things that you can do that are not possible if you are running Windows directly off of your hard drive. Here is a short description:
Virtual machines are a very convenient way to run Windows software on your Linux PC. As PCs have gotten faster, virtual machines have become comparatively more lightweight.

This process involves installing a copy of Windows in a โ€œvirtual machineโ€ program like VirtualBox, VMware, or Linuxโ€™s built-in KVM (Kernel-based Virtual Machine) solution. That copy of Windows thinks itโ€™s running on real hardware, but itโ€™s really running in window on your desktop. Modern virtual-machine solutions can even break Windows programs running in the virtual machine out of that window, allowing them to act like normal windows on your Linux desktop. I do this with a full installation of Windows 7, but you could run Windows 8 or 10 the same way . Check it out and do your "homework" relative to your particular hardware. If you do it right, you will be very, very happy with the results. NOTE: Please do not ask me to assist you with your virtual installation. My schedule does not allow me the time to be doing lots of free tech work for other folks. Thank you.
