2018-12-31 18:59:23 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

legal immigration is great

2018-12-31 19:00:02 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

especially in the USA. We're all about foreign people uniting under one government to achieve liberty.

2018-12-31 19:01:08 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

I mean the original defacto motto was 'out of many, one'

2018-12-31 19:02:50 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

They just have to assimilate. By assimilate I mean not force their cultuee on others. I dont care if they bring it with them. To me, American culture is all about tolerating others liberty. Its very individualistic. Of course there are things like the national anthem. But I think the culture in general is set up to support an individual doing what they want in their life.

2018-12-31 22:06:59 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

Not all the founders wanted slavery to be abolished either. I think it's better to look at the benefits legal immigration had instead of just saying 'the founders wouldn't of wanted it like that'.

2018-12-31 22:14:58 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

I dunno it lets us get more hard working people looking for a better life that they can only attain by working hard (or at least, that's how I think it should be.)

2018-12-31 22:17:07 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

Also, about the founders, those acts do show a favor towards whites. But what about things like 'all men are created equal'? If they felt the need to specify 'white' in those acts, why not in the declaration of independence? the views of founders towards race seem complex.

2018-12-31 22:19:02 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

Yeah, that makes sense.

2018-12-31 22:21:02 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

I see.

2018-12-31 22:22:26 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

I think even just after slavery was abolished, it wouldn't make sense to send those slaves back to Africa. Many generations of them had lived in America at the time, making a separate culture than their African origins.

2018-12-31 22:24:38 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

It takes time to adjust, but they're still human and possess the potential to learn alot.

2018-12-31 22:26:07 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

Do you think culture is linked with race?

2018-12-31 22:28:45 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

I think problems in a republic with multi-ethnic people can only arise if people can't tolerate one another. Skin color doesn't determine anything in a person, culture does alot more.

2018-12-31 22:33:07 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

I think they should have rights like citizens, they can benefit society the same.

2018-12-31 22:33:12 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

With their liberty and all that

2018-12-31 22:34:35 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

Yeah I think they should have voting rights. I don't really see why they can't assimilate into society.

2018-12-31 22:34:42 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

And have the rights that citizens have.

2018-12-31 22:35:34 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

I think that people who immigrate here should be able to *become* citizens.

2018-12-31 22:35:50 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

Depending on various factors of course, like where they're from.

2018-12-31 22:36:04 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

But I don't think skin color should be considered. Moreso culture.

2018-12-31 22:36:43 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

nah they aren't a citizen yet

2018-12-31 22:36:49 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

so no

2018-12-31 22:37:54 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

2018-12-31 22:38:28 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

ethnostates are interesting in regards to the spectrum

2018-12-31 22:38:49 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

i view them as more authoritarian than anything

2018-12-31 22:41:24 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

yeah when ethostates come into play i generally find them as an extension of fascism or NatSoc Dia
