@my man , gravity is a downward force, on a flat object it wouldnt prevent things from going of a side...

@my man right, so gravity functions as a objects of lesser mass are drawn to objects of significant mass. This directional pull will always be directly towards the object of significant mass. On a sphere being pulled directly towards the core for the mass will always keep you planted on the surface. On a flat object of such mass it would actually collapse in on itself until it becomes a orb, if it didnt actully do that as it shoud on a flat center of mass everything would be dragged to the center of the flat surface and not able to move from the single center point. So now you buddy?
