โ€œAlthough Whitner said his department usually opts to issue warnings for those who hang up flyers for yard sales, events, and etc., if they could prove beyond a reasonable doubt which individual or individuals placed them, there would be charges. โ€œ

Usually we just issue a warning, but since we donโ€™t like these peoplesโ€™ opinions we would treat them differently.

The article says โ€œโ€œThere is a state law that you canโ€™t attach any type of poster on a telephone pole,โ€ he said. โ€œThereโ€™s a town ordinance like that, too.โ€

Iโ€™m not, just pointing out how retarded they are.

If I did catch a charge it would be interesting to bring up that quote though.

Damn, I just noticed I posted in the wrong server.

The police chief says that posting flyers on light poles is illegal and while they donโ€™t usually do anything, in this case they would like the charge the person. Sounds a bit biased.

Itโ€™s nice that they contacted IE and got a statement. We were represented very well.

Another newspaper called us โ€œethno-nationalistsโ€ but they only have a Facebook post about it.

All I can say is that whoever sent them that photo is a pretty good photographer.

โ€œWhiteโ€ pill

Iโ€™ve lived through that myself. Itโ€™s like a different country out here. Too bad our politicians and authorities are doing everything they can too change that.

Itโ€™s a nice comparison. IE puts up flyers, BLM vandalizes.

Yes but I think the average person reading that will see the stark difference. The BLM vandalism just makes our flyers look even better, imo.

Around here, thatโ€™s what they do. They vandalized the actual Vance Monument awhile back and it pissed off a lot of people.

The author also embellished a few things.

Print article and TV story

Thanks. If the flyer looks a bit tattered thatโ€™s because itโ€™s been up there since the 7th and was still there this afternoon when they went to do the story.

They (the town I suppose) took them all down except that one, which is prominently placed as you drive into/out of town.

Not sure what you mean.

The new baby is pushing me out of my office, so I was thinking about building a new one using the shell of a car port the old owner used for his RV. Whatโ€™s a good resource (books, etc) that I could use, for a beginner? Also, does this seem like a doable project?

I donโ€™t mean using the whole thing, but maybe building two rooms in it.

@RevStench Thanks so much.!

Awesome, thanks for the info. Itโ€™s already got electricity, just need to make sure itโ€™s up to code. Water too, and a small septic tank out back where he emptied his RV.
