its pretty fun. 410 is a fun load

i dont consider it alot of recoil. A little more than my 9mm carbine. But my wife (whos very new to guns) shoots the 410 without any issue

@HUNTER4639 i would look for an older version like i bought. the new ones are plastic and feel cheap.

the older ones have a nice solid wood stock and some decent bluing

Im willing to bet that if you have a lever action with a side loader youll be able to fit it with most any basic tools

if you use the side loader the only moving part is the hammer and trigger

pretty basic

one sec ill show you a pic of a henry with a side loader

you can pull back lever, load a single round in the bottom slot, pull lever back and fire.

only diff is really you can load single shot and not use the tube

i would disagree that a 45-70 round is useless in a firefight.

if you find a good used deal on a press youll save money in the long run

depending on what you shoot

i shoot alot of revolvers and you save a ton doing it yourself

if you only shoot 9mm you dont save that much

if you bulk buy powder youll save. it costs me about 4.50$ to 5$ on a box of 9mm

right now prices around here are $13 for a box of range ammo
