To discredit people for thinking critically (not saying they're always right) by labeling them as a conspiracy theory.. just fucked up.. like... why would average Joe have an agenda against Bill Gates, Bezos, Zuckerberg etc?

Even here in Sweden (and we dealt with Covid in the least bad way IMO), the People's health agency said "Do not believe in conspiracy theories about Covid"

And what really makes me laugh even though it isn't funny is that people are like "WW2 was only possible because people blindly obeyed Hitler without questioning him"

Something I'm curious about though is why are there people like us who with the predictive programming and everything else we're exposed to just like everyone else... how come we're able to see through the bullshit? Are we smarter? More "cynical"?

On Friday I had enough and told him "Enough is enough, you're a child and should think about your upcoming birthday, friends or Minecraft, not politics and especially not when you just repeat what you've been told or what you've heard"

Anyone else with kids who experienced something similar?

When I run into people wearing a mask (doesn't happen that often here though) I want to make sheep sounds, but at the end of the day, they are most likely scared as hell and I guess that's "punishment" enough

Divide and conquer is one thing that we've seen taking place throughout history and Trump vs Biden is definitely one of them.

Like, even if Trump is the better of the two, I still have a problem with his attitude to vaccines. I know it could be for show to make his opponents feel like he's taking the situation seriously, but taking the vaccine is not even an option for a lot of people.

I can only speak for myself even though I know a lot of people agree with me on this, but vaccines should only be taken for life threatening diseases. Covid is not life threatening for the vast majority of people, not any worse than any other disease would be for a 82 yo severely obese man with a heart condition.

How is it in the States now for senior citizens?
