@Ristley they do say that, and I pray to God it isn't turning blue. But if Texas is, it's because of all the Californians moving over to Texas and then trying to make their failed policies work here rather than admitting it didn't work.

I ask because the more I talk to democrats, the more it seems like they have been left behind by liberalism and now they're leaning more libertarian.

I think that's a good way to go.

I agree that people on both sides will just echo what they hear. That's why I believe you need to find your own way with your own effort.

In my opinion everything else is a symptom of 3 causes that divide liberals and conservatives: absolute vs relative truth, altruism vs virtue signaling, personal responsibility vs identity politics.

It seems that way, which is why I say more and more democrats I've talked to seem to be leaning center instead of left, because the LOUD left is all we hear, and they're insane.

I believe SJW's believe that, I don't believe they actually accomplish that.

I believe SJW's and the FAR left are all hypocrites, just the same as the FAR right are hypocrites.

They call everyone bigots, while being bigots. They silence free speech while protesting for free speech. They call people racist while focusing solely on people's race. etc.

I feel like 90% of people fall somewhere between the crazies.

Let's back up to the justice system being targeted toward the black poppulation.

From my research, it's the democrats who put laws into place to make that happen. Albeit, republicans still had to agree to vote in the policy.

And from my research, Trump is the ONLY president who has done anything about it.

I believe words only have as much power as you give them. The asians (myself included by half) didn't care. And the power of the words died out. And now they're rarely heard. And no one cares. You call a korean a gook and they've never heard it. You call a japanese person a zipperhead (as offensive as that is) and they've never heard it. Because Asians never let the word have power over them. I believe even the n-word should be said until it has no power.

hard R and all, I believe the word should be said until everyone is freed from the power it's been given. A word shouldn't have that much command over people.

But really, let's look at asian culture in America for a sec. They the most successful, no one can say a racist thing about them that would bother them enough to cause an uproar, they have very tight families, it's exactly opposite of everything our politics are fighting about today.

Everyone is saying the white people are the worst and occupy the highest places of the nation, when asians are literally at the top of every poll. Why is that.

I grew up in El Paso, Tx. 92% hispanic. 2% black. 4% white. 2% asian. The top ten in my graduating class were 5.5 asians, because I am half asian.

I don't watch any sports since they became political.

Ever since the first time whatshisface knelt, I quit watching all sports because I knew the virtue signaling was inevitable.

Meh, it aint offensive now, get over it.

And 50 years from now people will research us and think the same.

I hated those games cause I thought they were rigged.

Until I was class president and I got to rig the game to give a cupcake to the girl I had a crush on. Then I loved the game.

I can feel this on a personal level

I once tried to keep a water turtle. It didn't take....and it was a permanent stain on my soul....feeling how soft his shell was when he decided to give up....

I gave him medicine, put him in natural light, had a large stone outside the water he could rest on. He still knew that life was over. He crawled up, ignored the food and medicine, and gave up.

And when I had to scoop him up to bury him, his shell was as as soft as his skin. Super sad.

HOWEVER. I've been watching this guy on youtube who creates natural environments for fish. Looks like a ton of work, but they really thrive, and it's super therapeutic just watching how he sets the whole thing up.
