I think Canada has some decent gun laws

You train with a gun and learn all your essential safety in your course. You get issued a license that basically is your background check completed. You can buy and leave with rifles/shotguns same day

Bringing in new guns isn't hard for Canada. We don't have import bans like the united states does.

I would say that I think there should be more rights actually signed in, but the same people who would be eligible to possess firearms in the states are the same people getting these licenses.
