It's physics. You can disprove masks with a spray bottle, sheet of paper, and your hand.

Hold the paper a foot away, put the bottle against your hand, squeeze. That's you coughing wearing a mask.

Now put your hand against the paper with the spray bottle a foot away and squeeze. That's you wearing a mask if someone coughs on you. You get coated.

Sure, it *might* not go in your mouth, but you're covered.

Coughing produces clouds of droplets; they don't all get magically attracted to and trapped by a mask.

I suggested a channel under hobbies for discussing writing and writing techniques.

Art covers everything, but it's a bit too broad.

That's my next suggestion.

Yep. My personal library is the second biggest room of my house.

It took me a couple of months to move my books; I'm still finding some tucked away.

I was tempted, but I stopped counting books when I passed 8k during the move.

Plus I have Nat Geos from 1929 until now.

I re-read my entire library about once every ten years. Takes about a year.

I read extremely fast. When my family goes out of town, I take a novel to read the hour trip and one to read back.

I'm a writer off and on, but I've read like this since I was four.

Second book I read. My parents loved to spell things in front of us.

I hit Kindergarten at 4, a week later I was reading with the second-graders.

I had a tomcat named Mia that looked a lot like her.

Mia had serious breathing issues from a kittenhood injury. Eventually the meds stopped working.

*All* of my housecats are defective farm cats. Some more so than others.

I have ten indoors right now, including one mama and her new kitten.

This is Singularity yesterday. She's just two weeks old.

Loud and Quiet. Brother and sister, both have heterochromia.

I love most animals. Cats are just easier to live with for me.
