I don't believe ppl should be handed land on the basis of race. But when one family owns large swathes of land equivalent to 15000 football fields and just 15% of a population owns more than half of the country's land like it is in Namibia, it'll create social tensions.

Even without race factoring into the equation, income inequality leads to more instability and crime.

@Darkseid that may be true, but income inequality is a real problem in South Africa and to add apartheid and race issues into it makes it even more complicated.

@Darkseid when societies become unequal many of the ppl at the bottom of the hierarchy are willing to flip the whole system with violence and call for a revolution. This happens regardless of race. The political atmosphere is encouraging this in SA today as well as some tribal elders.

So the options for SA's are basically, ANC, EFF or DA? I can see why ANC has been in power this long. I believe most black SAn's that want real change are forced to side with ANC. I think there's need to be a new party, that is willing to address the issues with real solutions.
