this channel itself is a shitpost
nah denmark immigration policies are pseudo-based
as based as they can be without violating the (((EU)))
elected official doing what people elected them to do? *death threats*
thats not dank thats lazy imo, but I dont know anything about the danish meme-economy
lazy in execution AND thought*
I do so love people on twitter "now now mister president, aren't you ashamed of yourself" like no he's the president lmao
shouting at celebs in helvetica is one thing, I feel like shouting at the potus is another, deeper level of mental illness
Sorry I can't come in to work today, i've gotten the politics
interesting ting I just found out, Bush famously used "nucular" in 2001, his first year, still won the next term
trump strategery
accepted is a bit of a stretch I think
nah and neither do people really accept it, dictionary nazis be damned
dunno if its been posted already, but regarding shithole-gate; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wze8rKYfbP8
they were explaining it in a superstitious way, "earth has healing properties," right like healing life
and yeah it was just to keep the internal knots from ruining their day, though honestly id rather go out, starving and hunting, than sit around eating dirt to stay satisfied; *watches youtube videos*
starve-shaming ๐๐ฟ
pins work too, tim doesnt really hang out atm because canada is slowly siphoning his freedom essence rn
oh good no one posted the memeball yet https://img.4plebs.org/boards/pol/image/1479/71/1479710645703.png
cant wait to hear what their platform is for 2020
or just more hope/change, read; regulating feelings and bombings!
its so weird to me that 1/3-1/2 of the political powers that be pander to obnoxious intellectuals on the internet
more of those would mean a higher requisite charisma for both sides at least
but im more for just freeing those poor hillbillies from sanctuary city control
potential onion article: entire nation of N. Korea wins oscar for most consistent performance
ctrl-f -> *pukebong* amazing name lmao
wapo did a "fact-check" article only to basically agree with what he said and mention "yeah but we corrected that"
massive media outlets are apprently at the same level of responsibility as some dude tweeting, what a joke
they forgot to ""fact"-"check"" the points at the end where they mention the good things to come out of the presidency so far, I give them 3/10
sponsored ads seem to be fine as long as the company has absolutely nothing to do with the content, hard to make that line clear
@Timcast start selling beanies and rapping about merch
if he found an engaging partner, a weekly stream could get some $$ too
no FUCK hearthstone, I meant talking about events for the week
the whole point of his second channel I guess, but for his main one
it doesnt need structure honestly, but has that conversational tone/interaction with donators
ye and he can bring his opinions up as opposed to unbiased reporting, YT severely lacks a consumer->creator line unless you stream, for whatever reason
probably due to the 40+ hours of weekly sensitivity training
I exaggerate, but google seems committed to things that arent exactly utilitarian
AI would make a fantastic filter for biased reporting, incorporating online trends, buzzwords and obvious subjective qualifiers would flag every MSM article pretty much
kek
I think Cathy Newman did a great job at representing her sides points, the points themselves dont come out well I think because criticisms towards JP are usually horribly thought out, she was a good sport in the end and (hopefully, as public debate should do) shifted some opinion away from the whole anti-trans nonsense
wheres the hair
they really value those morality points
hopefully less stabbings now
^this, she did as well as all of his critics, who genuinely believe the things she was aggressively putting forward
and now they have no options for 1. saying she didnt try hard enough, 2. saying peterson is an alt-right memelord
"None of the five measures of substance use since entering college were statistically
associated with being a victim of forced sexual assault during college."
yeah the most significant factor was being in a relationship with some form of physical/verbal/mental abuser
I think the reason that the "take responsibility" argument exists and is so controversial is partly due to the fact that going and getting drunk is NOT significant in the sexual assault increases occurring on college campuses
ie. most drunk girls dont call rape, its very low
see THATS a good question, why do both sides center around alcohol/parties, when its clearly an abusive relationship thing
according to WHO it does, but if substance use isnt significantly associated with an increase, then most people attending parties/using substances have an understanding about drunk sex and it not being so black and white as the louder, more vindictive claimants of sexual assault make it out to be
"It may also occur when the
person aggressed is unable to give consent โ for
instance, while drunk, drugged, asleep or mentally
incapable of understanding the situation."
considering the following qualifiers, you need to be *pretty* drunk
but they dont extrapolate on that, which has probably caused some issue
I dont see how I couldve been interpreted as 1 drink = no agency
it CAN be interpreted that way, thats a problem
also from WHO; http://www.who.int/substance_abuse/terminology/who_lexicon/en/
"Intoxication is highly dependent on the type and dose of drug and is influenced by an individual's level of tolerance and other factors. Frequently, a drug is taken in order to achieve a desired degree of intoxication. The behavioural expression of a given level of intoxication is strongly influenced by cultural and personal expectations about the effects of the drug."
obviously these cases need to be solved uniquely, regarding the drinking ones, meanwhile a majority of the problem stems from relationship abuse and that doesnt seem to have come up in all the activism surrounding rape culture
we trivialize drunk sex because its socially acceptable, even according to the CSA study, but I dont think we trivialize relationship abuse
good, it SHOULD come up, we SHOULDNT ruin mens careers/futures for going to parties and having sex with culturally-defined consenting adults
one of my roomates had this whistle blown at him
yeah ive seen people say "I like asian women" referring to dating preference, be called racist
hows this for victim blaming, the study definitely mentions an increase, on-par with being in abusive relationship, stemming from being abused before college
there are so many things that we think deserve justice that, I believe, come from a deep-seated lack of mental health examination
that goes for men who abuse and women who let themselves be abused, vice versa, etc.
#1 meat planet
well if he can prove that he watched it and paid attention, that gives him a better ground to state an argument
but honestly its like "why does media want to make money"
sex and insecurity sell
