@Valence I think it may be legal to open carry in New Jersey. A friend of mine with a civil rights organization has tried contacting multiple government officials to get a straight answer and none have been able to answer him. Not even the AG.

I have been putting off buying a gun. I didn't apply for a handgun license, which in my state is separate from a general firearm ID and has a short time to expiration, so I'll need to get a long gun.

@cornpop Governor Snaggletooth isn't mandating it (for now) but has implemented an opt-out rather than opt-in system for the vaccine via executive order.

I didn't quite understand the language of the EO but it made it sound like everyone will be enrolled in the NJIIS (NJ vaccine database accessible by HCPs) if they aren't already. I sure hope not since I'm not currently enrolled. All members of the NJIIS will only be able to opt out for the vaccine 30 days or later after the public health emergency ends, whenever that will be.

Even if I were enrolled in the NJIIS, I don't have medical insurance nor a primary care doctor, so I don't know how it would be enforced.

Btw my vote in NJ was finally counted after over a month

Seems like the Trump team's lawsuit failed in Wisconsin. I'm not at all looking forward to a Biden presidency, especially since it's very hard to believe he actually won based on such a lack of enthusiasm for him
