Speaking of anime, I am a high school Japanese teacher in the ghetto. The school is 40% Black, 60% Hispanic school. The school was was 90% white back in the 70s. Walking down the hall by the auditorium looking at the band, choir, etc, photos year by year, it's... it's not fun.

I did actually. They are somewhat higher tier blacks and Hispanics, (talented 10th) but they're still unimpressive compared to mostly white classes I observed in neighboring districts.

I had a Nepali co-worker in Japan (they are so desperate for English speakers they hire Nepali). She was the first person I ever heard proudly tell people she avoided dating non-Nepali because she wanted to carry on their bloodline / legacy. And no one called her racist.

I like to think I can still listen to the other side, even if I don't take anything they say seriously anymore. But day by day it gets more unbearable, especially NPR.

I want to argue against this, but I think this is reality. The democratic party is no party for white men, and a sustainable independent party would take too long to build.

It's much easier to "subvert" the republican party, where most of our people are anyway.
