I just joined to specify something i believe Tim was unaware of, when it comes to canadian insurance rates, and that's that those insurance rates are unaffected by any sort of program meant to assist disadvantaged people, the reason why men are charged more is due to an increase to men's prices (especially around 17-24) due to that demographic being riskier drivers, as much as it sucks to be judged on the same spectrum of every guy who flipped his truck into the ditch, that's the situation here.
i can overload my computer, was only able to handle 3 million pings
He described it as a program though, which is what i addressed.
His point aside
Never really needed to know how to do that. So no clue, only concerned with any bill with a C in front of it from the last decade, they either took away privacy, or restricted speech.
But i do know this, men were charged more, because insurance companies saw an opportunity to cash in, so their solution to this will likely be to just increase prices for women to match men's.
I mean, the insurance industry in canada... is certainly something. It's a state enforced necessity, can't drive without it, and several measures have been taken (specifically in Alberta) to make sure that if you try to pursue competitive rates, it'll cost you more than just staying with your current company.
And everytime they rose rates illegally, they just apologized, then asked for permission.
Pretty much, no way to not get screwed by insurance here, just gotta sit in the corner and watch it abuse your wallet
or just use public transit. one of the two.
Yeah, but it's an oopsie then not changing anything, like a kid apologizing in grade school.
Oh, they can turn a profit
They're not state owned.
if you knew the canadian governments history with this stuff, actually, great example, during WW2 canada produced the sten SMG i believe it was called, it was absolute trash. The reason for it being that the prime minister's nephew had a friend who's father owned a factory, or something along those lines.
So probably just because insurance lobbyists asked, or because someone knew a guy. You wouldn't believe the amount stuff that goes on in Alberta, lot of people working Exxon and Shell fell to their death in a field.
No, it's not to prevent nepotism, it's more likely to help those individuals.
But the Star System, in alberta, just makes something that acts like a monopoly anyways.
so there's no point to having multiple competitors, since they cannot compete in any sense.
So will the majority of the republican party, likely. Keep in mind the study that showed a majority of his voters had little to no exposure to the internet, what lost the democrats 2016, will lose them 2020 for sure, Democrats don't have a strong candidate (out of those they promote as potentially being such) and they often take no interest in going to the areas less affected by media exposure.
That's an if though, we'll have to see if they can produce a competent candidate.
Because their taste was observably flawed.
I'm looking at you, Mrs.Clinton.
If they manage it, it will be a very fun year.
I don't know much about that, being Canadian. What I do know, is that Trump is the average american president, I still don't get how he's so different to his predecessors
Exactly, he is the model American.
about what everybody else expects, to be honest with you. I don't know many people that really care, when americans act like that. It's pretty much how america started, ask someone on the street if they find vandalism wrong, then compare it to the boston tea party. People who run their mouth have a place in this world. And the constitution is built to preserve them.
Not in america, people confuse anglosphere with commonwealth, quite a bit.
It is part of the anglosphere, However, it seperated from the crown
why it's weirder when US either bends to the church or the crown, it should be doing niether.
Previous candidates had a significant religious slant, as far as I am aware, and so does a significant portion of the current WH staff.
