There's nothing irrational about that. Members of the Islamic Caliphate have been saying for **years** that they want to wipe Israel off of the map and kill everyone inside of it.
According to their religion, any Jew is a heretic and an infidel, and the penalty for either of the two is death.
Their cultures are completely incompatible. If Israel wants to exist they have to fight.
He actively supported their enemies for his entire time in office.
Not to mention the laws he imposed upon the U.S. own military about reading them miranda rights.
He couldn't have been more pro-Islamist in war if he tried.
