I joined a couple of clubs at uni, but since I'm a transfer student, I feel really isolated from most of my classmates

I'm older than most of my classmates, so I don't really get along with them easily.

I do play D&D on the weekends, but my group is mostly in Northern California, and I basically play online.

it's still not really enough to get the loneliness out.
