turns out that our justice system seems to be mainly concerned of the rights of criminals, not just rapist jihadis

and when they talk about the need for harsher sentences it is absolutely useless since the judges only give out low sentences, or suspended ones, because prisons are quite close to 3 star hotels and thus jailing people is too expensive

or, like some like to think, the judges and politicians themselves have dabbled in such things and want to set the trend as low as possible in case they get caught themselves
