And the tax is .24%, so if your property has been assessed as being worth $1 mil, you pay $2,400.

It varies by city, of course.

The majority of the taxes paid are income taxes.

If you don't work in Canada, you're not paying income tax.

If you're just owning a house? It's pretty much just property tax at this stage.
