can anyone think of a justifiable example of violating the harm principle.
The Harm Principle states that the *only* justification for interfering in another's liberty is to prevent harm to others.
its close to it but not quite the same thing
have a feeling i would get kicked out of school if i wrote that
bioethics is hard for a libertarian
its like polar ends of the spectrum
true to a degree
yup need to think up a counterpoint for it
ill probaly just wright that thee is no case in witch that its okay to violate it worst case its a single lost point
its a bioethics classs and we are focusing on autominity
yeah there is no example i can tink ive asked like 5 diffrent people for help
no one can think how to prove it wrong but my professer bs
he very well could be
would not susprise me
ill make it work we will debate it in class and prove it true
these are one point HW. he dosent even read them as far as i know just makes sure you wrote something. i can mention collectivism and how its still wrong
thank yall for the help ill be sure to make the best of it as i can
cough cough the Louisiana purchase is unconstutional
didnt say its a bad thing
therefor it is left to the individual states not the goverment
yes and the land should have ben purchased by individual states not the fed
you are not wrong but the goverment was behaving outside of its scope
not saying it was a bad deal
just unconstutional
since it is not expressly permited to the federal goverment the states reserve said right Amendment X
RIGHTS RESERVED TO STATES OR PEOPLE
Passed by Congress September 25, 1789. Ratified December 15, 1791. The first 10 amendments form the Bill of Rights
only a few classes and only the honors ones
Turns out its okay to violate the harm/nap if it's for your own good kms
Is the use of medical tools to enhance human beings morally troubling?

if you use subjet to the laws of a nation does that mean any one born at a us embassy deserves citizenship, or since international corporations are subject to us jurisdiction and those employees are subject to the company does that by extension grant them rights.
