Leadville area

yeah I'm here for news and a like-minded community supporting life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness...not to find out that I've been associated with nazis because some fool supports an ethnostate while I'm offline. Good job yeeting that guy quick.

I'm under the impression that instead of choosing from existing ideologies (most of which have failed in practice) it would be more prudent to develop a new system/model around the world we actually live in today..whereas the creators of every model in use today are dead and gone, remembered in statue form-disconnected from the reality of life in 2020.

I don't claim to have any bold new ideas to contribute, but i think bold new ideas might be important to developing beyond a two-party, 2-system model that seems like such a circus today

are you a commie? a capitalist?

or something new, built on our current reality to make it the best possible

fair enough, @Zone-Tan, its still a matter of choice between people I wouldn't choose to govern even a minecraft server

well said grecks

what has worked in the past? what has failed? what new ideas could be tested?

perhaps candidates could be kept anonymous (lol) and we would then vote on the PLATFORM rather than the PERSON

then we vote on ideas alone and have an organization tasked with making the ideas a reality

by the people, for the people

theres a call still active

enforcement how?

AGI could help us govern impartially and with our best, most moral interests in mind

pressure from everyone else for the removal of extreme inequity

redistribute the wealth, allocate a percentage to develop critical reparations and technology

should a cap be put on net worth? I dont believe the idea originally was of an america run by a few billionaires

I'm not an expert on anything really, let alone the intricacies of modern politics and how to change things

i like the fantastical idea of robin hood economics but recognize that is it unrealistic

its cuz im poor

if my math is right

bezos could personally give every american 250,000 and still have almost 2 billion

you're right, i'm way off

thats probably what it was lmao i was off by a factor of many tens

i was trying to do all the conversions in my head and royally missed target

I agree we need SMI2LE

Space Migration

Intelligence Increase

Life Extension

export the workers to new worlds

very slowly with current tech

need generational seed ships to get to different stars

and all our terraforming ideas are untested

we might make some world ending mistakes at first

make mars even worse somehow

but we learn by trying

that's one of the techs i was referencing lol nuke the poles

3000 people on an alien world working together to survive against all the odds and elements

who can tell what system they would create?

The Moon is a Harsh Mistress

Robert A. Heinlien

the people of the moon (used as a resource pool for earth) gain their independence with the help of a supercomputer and a battle against the homeworld lol

expand space behind, contract space in front

bingo bango, you got a warp drive

have any links?

I wasn't aware we could do it in experiments yet

I've seen teleportation of electrons or some such subatomic particle, not with an inanimate object like, say, a chair

isn't it a matter of increasing/decreasing gravitational "fields"?

antimatter can actually be contained reasonably will with VERY strong electromagnetic fields

@Zone-Tan and garuntees that your craft will not collide with dust at FTL speeds and disintegrate across several solar systems

ala star trek warp cores

Brain Machine Interface

brakes like, solar sails and retroburners

a photon experiences no time or speed/acceleration as it goes point a to point b

every action has an equal and opposite reaction

burn the other way with the same force as the vector of acceleration

play a lot of kerbal space program first

you dont need friction to slow down

depends on how you look at it

it was a joke, the speed of light differs based on how you look at it subjectively at different speeds

source on speed of light measurement inconsistency?

i dont think light just stops in a vacuum

what would happen subjectively if all photons stopped moving

what do they use for c (speed of light) in equations if not a constant?

listening to it now, he is talking about questioning dogma

relative to a "stationary" observer?

> @AbysmalWizard stop believing what the mainstream tells you and watch the video
@gothicancientalien I'm asking questions, simultaneous to listening to the video you linked and considering possibilities. Not really trying to have an argument about who owns my mental domain

im under the impression that nobody alive today really understands quantum physics, we just see a lot of weird things happen in experiments that contradict what is "known" already

yeah i don't know anything beyond what i'm able to access as a layman, and even that boggles my mind

shoot backwards, go forwards

and shoot in a perfectly straight path following your already established trajectory

10 minutes in he talks about the speed of light dropping

between 1928 and 1945. and then up again in 1948. Then it evened out again and people across the world registered a similar c within fractions of a decimal. Is it possible our measurement tools got more advanced?

Dmitry is great to get deep without being "away" too long

but muh MKULTRA

cannabis is legal in the ol' colorado so I do enjoy smoking and growing it

in colorado? big yes.

not drugs if gummit says so

i lost almost a year of my life to a xanax prescription i thought i needed. quit all that and happy now mostly just smoking weed and being outside lol i never needed it, still have to ask my friends to fill in blank memories. fuck pharma.

> Wizard and alien lurking hard <:emoji_2:705450289410474044>
@Abe Clark donde?

get all the stuff ever done 10 minutes before you start

definitely placebo drywall
