Hello everyone! I'm new to the MensRights sub and my interest is purely academic

I'd like to ask something that may seem repeated or ignorant, I've navigated through the sub and saw how the general claim is that the system is rigged against men (disposable ... etc), having almost 200k subscriber why don't you channel your voices through a representative to be elected to the house ?

I read the letter and there was an interesting sentence that took my eye "judgement call, than an exact science" , I'm a Data Engineer and statistician and I've head it several times before it usually means "it's an ideological call, and not what our audience base should see"

@Silver_The_Bard Thank you for the article, it was quite revealing , now let me just say couple of things, first the way you can fix the logistics issue can be through crowdfunding for Ads so more men know that they aren't alone thus getting more support for the group, second and this is based on my limited knowledge of how identity politics collapsed through history I see that you have two ways to go either continue to resist in a direct way like you do now , or help to push the radical left/feminism/LGBT ideas , this kind of politics always felt because of the principle of explosion (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Principle_of_explosion) in simple words if their was no more legal categorization of sex/gender the biggest beneficiary would be men because women are seen as a protected class , and this idea of removing sex/gender from the legal documents it extremely welcomed by the radical LGBT which made it harder for the feminists to go against (exemple : GRA reform) . I wish you all justice and best of luck ๐Ÿ˜‰

no not with feminists but with the LGBT/Gender neutral groups, Ok let make a simple model to explain how the left works, the left is a group that have several subgroups within , there rules are simple no subgroup can criticize the other that why they call them selves as "the tolerant left", their major weakness or the logical fallacy is that they have different values , in other words you just need to support (not necessary to involve) the subgroup that values aligns with your interests (example of explosion : feminists want women to be always looked to as victims/class but LGBTs what to be able to change your gender just by saying so, which collide with the victim-hood class however a subgroup can't speak against the other because of the "tolerant rule", and here where the system crash) , so you don't need to get involved with feminists just support and express your support for the LGBT cause and I'm sure even the media will even support you .

@Silver_The_Bard Thanks! @Men Are Human that my point exactly because no subgroup nor media dares to criticize them considering that they're a protected class/subgroup of the left

Your articles and support would have much more impact because it's unusual unlike sjws that most people developed a habit of ignoring them, and approach the media because they'll love to think that what is considered as a potential threat to their ideals is giving in and joining the tribes , after all in the BBC letter they did propose a link for suggestions (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/have_your_say), and one more thing keep a close eye on those asking for a gender neutral society they're Men's best friend ๐Ÿ˜‰

@Silver_The_Bard Thank you, that's very nice of you, I'd just want to point out to something you mentioned earlier MGTOW, I've navigated through their content too, I'd agree that hatred is dominating their atmosphere However I can understand (not agree) how they feel, for years society kept demonizing them and telling them what they're good for and not, so it's a very predictable reaction , the good critic to be given to them is that they chose to get out of the system, probably best for all because their feelings will negatively impact the picture of groups like yours in the eyes of the public .

That for sure, ironically women are the biggest opposition to the potential amendment where not the media nor feminists have spoken against it yet (shocking) , putting men's gender of the birth certificate only serve the purposes that you want to change, after all men aren't asking for special protections but just to be seen as humans
