You are the worst
Reeeeeeeeeeee
Those of you that beleive in God, i am dealing with a personal struggle in my life, and i am humbly requesting for prayers. Even if you don't believe, your prayers are still meaningful. God bless you.
All of you are way more than names on a screen. Seriously, thankyou
You all are the best
@Legalize pondering Pilot Vanishing Point EF, gunmetal, for next paycheck.
I rather like my Elite 95. Some of it's build quality could be a pinch better, but it's an elegant design and a smooth write.
I'm not for sure I would be so bold, but I feel I could take a Vanishing Point a few more places than I'd feel comfortable bringing the E95
As for inks, what's your top choice on black?
I'm using iroshizuku, and it's very nice. No drying, clogging or hard start as of yet. My only other experiences with ink are for dip pens and Manuscript calligraphy ink in IC's
Fountain pen and ink stuff ๐
I like kon-peki but i think i like the asa-gao more. Kon-peki is kind of like a prussian blue. Some call it a cerulean blue but I'm not as familiar with that as I am prussian blue. The asa-gao is like an ultramarine blue.
I don't know if it's me or not but I seem to notice a lot more English speaking people these days starting off a sentence with a tongue smack. To my knowledge, there is no tongue-smack phoneme used in the English language.
I'll see if I can find one
_nearly all_ English speaking people seem to be doing it. It's oboxious.
Is uptalk when everything is inflected as a question?
Having internet trouble. Logged on in mobile
I think that those in-between people are radical sympathizers; people that may not agree with the radical left ideation but may be swayed by or agree with some of it. I think they are more dangerous than the radical left because they are the type that may be a conduit to the radical left.
Now if I can get you to be a pencil snob also~
yussssss~
Pretty good
Playing a game i used play about 20 years ago
Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus
33.6 _thousand_ dollars for that set.
I think fountain pens are cool and all, and I actually _can_ understand spending a few hundred dollars for one, but... wow.
I was just about to say hooray I ordered a cool fountain pen and an interlinear bible, but I think perhaps I've walked in at the wrong time.
I'm happy~ Doodling around with it now.
Has more bounce than my Elite 95. Very smooth though.
Due to its construction, the nib being mechanically isolated from the body of it, it has less feedback and a sort of cushion when touched against paper.
It's different, but not better or worse than the Elite 95 by my opinion so far. Noticeably finer lines than the Elite, even though they are both EF nibs.
Same. Using Iroshizuku black (take-sumi)
Hey, can anyone help me with this quote? I'm having difficulty finding it's originator. I thought it was Ben Franklin. Paraphrasing this but trying to get it as accurately as possible: "those who seek to govern benevolently still seek to _govern_"
Mm thankyou.
It's not exactly what I was looking for but helps to also communicate the same point it seems. I was talking to someone about being suspicious of government and even of the politicians that we vote for, or rather the party that one prefers because even someone that wants to be in command for your benefit still seeks to be the one with command.
Eating them, eh?
I'm guessing it's kind of tough, like overdry jerky
I sleep better in winter when I can get warm with blankets. That much of it is nice. My craigslist car though needs a master cylinder and tires, so the snow has me worried.
iron deficiency + is a woman = the perfect storm freeze baby
Thinking of piecing together a .300BLK PDW since I already have most of the parts.
CMMG upper, 8" barrel, married to a receiver that's not been used.
does anyone here feel like a lot of pundits support the 2nd amendment _until_ it comes to actually exercising it in defense of one's life liberty and property? IE: "I support the 2nd amendment but NEVER actually fight against the government. Always let them chalk your stuff and then fight them in court to get it back"
No it isn't surprising. I do wonder how many of them have a different _private_ opinion on the matter.
I'm asking the same question in a "daily wire" fan chat and basically am being called an idiot.
``How many single guys at home were killed by the british in the late 1700's during the time that lead up to the declaration of independence? Clearly the revolutionary war didn't but pop off after a single incident. It was actually a long period of boiling over and numerous incidents. My point is this. The government can arbitrarily declare anything they wish to be legal or illegal, but that doesn't make it constitutionally legal. Additionally, if we as constitutional conservatives recognize that the point of having an armed citizenry is to be able to actively protect ourselves from overreach using violence if it is necessary then what is the point of immediate surrender of one's property and rights in the uncertain hope that it might be returned some day?``
I'm not actually making an argument that we should all start shooting at cops, but it seems to me that even asking about this sort of thing is causing people to come at me with "hush"
I'm saying if we're being intellectually honest here, what is the point of having guns? Defending freedom or surrending to overreaching government and asking _very nicely_ for our freedom to be returned?
Isn't it appropriate to at some point take a stand?
Isn't that the point?
Again, I'm not saying right now. I'm asking. There IS a time for this right? It's "on the table" right? Isn't that the point of having the bill of rights? That there IS a time for locking and loading up? Why do so many pundits seem to be more interested in surrendering and pleading?
I'm bringing this up in daily wire fan chat and several people are essentially berating me and attacking me for even having an opinion about this.
Lemme see if I can more clearly explain my line of inquiry...
I am not saying we should haphazardly start shooting at government officials over parking tickets.
I'm saying that the _purpose_ of an armed citizenry is to safeguard against overreach, correct? So why do so many people relegate armed insurrection to a virtual taboo or kick it so far down the road that it's unreachable in conversation. Isn't this a serious topic to discuss earnestly? I mean the armed insurrection and resistance against tyranny card IS a card that is on the table, or isn't it?
I have no desire to play that card. It would be bloody and horrible, but all guns are not for sporting purpose? "The sword I wear is not an ornament" is what comes to mind.
I don't think we should be scared. We're Americans. We love our freedom, our lives, our property and our families. We have a constitution which illustrates in no uncertain terms that we have the right to defend ourselves with weapon if it is necessary.
So in other words, we _should_ be afraid.
I don't really like that answer, but I get it I suppose.
Well I'm an ex-military guy, so I'm already on a ton of lists.
my paw prints are documented by several agencies ๐
I herd they allow women in Army infantry now?
Glad I'm not still in.
