I'm very pro guns
``How many single guys at home were killed by the british in the late 1700's during the time that lead up to the declaration of independence? Clearly the revolutionary war didn't but pop off after a single incident. It was actually a long period of boiling over and numerous incidents. My point is this. The government can arbitrarily declare anything they wish to be legal or illegal, but that doesn't make it constitutionally legal. Additionally, if we as constitutional conservatives recognize that the point of having an armed citizenry is to be able to actively protect ourselves from overreach using violence if it is necessary then what is the point of immediate surrender of one's property and rights in the uncertain hope that it might be returned some day?``
I'm not actually making an argument that we should all start shooting at cops, but it seems to me that even asking about this sort of thing is causing people to come at me with "hush"
I'm saying if we're being intellectually honest here, what is the point of having guns? Defending freedom or surrending to overreaching government and asking _very nicely_ for our freedom to be returned?
Isn't it appropriate to at some point take a stand?
Isn't that the point?
Again, I'm not saying right now. I'm asking. There IS a time for this right? It's "on the table" right? Isn't that the point of having the bill of rights? That there IS a time for locking and loading up? Why do so many pundits seem to be more interested in surrendering and pleading?
Because pundits are paid to talk and do nothing.
Ultimately, pundits are interested in keeping their jobs. Pundits who suggest that you should be violent don't keep their jobs.
Unless they're lefty pundits talking about riots of peace
@Gunner Fox you mean that claiming muh guns were lost in a boating accident actually defeats the whole constitutional argument for arms to begin with?! But muh tree of liberty.
The thing is, once you accept that the guns are for defending your rights against government, there's no where to go but shooting cops.
Well, if those cops start infringing upon your rights. I kind of think that when you feel the need to lose your guns in a boating accident is the exact time to... not do that
@Louis Carlos Fer exactly. It's not a question of if they start, but how much you'll tolerate. A fine balance the state has had figured out pretty well. Just keep that stock market high!
I'm bringing this up in daily wire fan chat and several people are essentially berating me and attacking me for even having an opinion about this.
Lemme see if I can more clearly explain my line of inquiry...
I am not saying we should haphazardly start shooting at government officials over parking tickets.
Idk. If you aren't willing to delineate when to start shooting cops, you should've just bought a cod piece.
Be a fascist and unleash the police.
I'm saying that the _purpose_ of an armed citizenry is to safeguard against overreach, correct? So why do so many people relegate armed insurrection to a virtual taboo or kick it so far down the road that it's unreachable in conversation. Isn't this a serious topic to discuss earnestly? I mean the armed insurrection and resistance against tyranny card IS a card that is on the table, or isn't it?
Because people don't like feds
I have no desire to play that card. It would be bloody and horrible, but all guns are not for sporting purpose? "The sword I wear is not an ornament" is what comes to mind.
@Gunner Fox was Tim McVeigh a terrorist or a patriot?
Answering that question might get you jail time.
That's why. They're scared.
I don't think we should be scared. We're Americans. We love our freedom, our lives, our property and our families. We have a constitution which illustrates in no uncertain terms that we have the right to defend ourselves with weapon if it is necessary.
Sure, absolutely, problem is, if you openly talk about where your redline is on the internet, it's recorded forever
Better to keep it as a nebulous "Don't tread on me" type deal rather than a "okey, now that you're planning on doing this you should probably come find and target me"
So in other words, we _should_ be afraid.
I don't really like that answer, but I get it I suppose.
I mean, I dunno that I would call it afraid so much as extremely wary
Well I'm an ex-military guy, so I'm already on a ton of lists.
my paw prints are documented by several agencies 😆

The dude who became a tranny and got out of jail after molesting kids makes an excellent argument for harsher sentences for black males.
@Make Jerusalem Christian Again
Well goy, you don't understand epigenetics. Blacks' ancestors were slaves, and that automatically makes you a criminal.
Also stereotype threat. It's a thing.
Just don't ask for evidence.
Wait.
People argue that epigenetics are heritable?
I thought it was childhood lead exposure.
I just learned about Edward Bernays and wow
No wonder you were shitting on it
@Legalize ((())) you forgot these
