Listened to Jordan Peterson, Ben Shapiro, Dave Rubin. Still didn’t necessarily agree with them, but I didn’t like being told I was awful and full of privilege by the “left”, so I didn’t look further into the left until recently and I found some progressive that thought the same way I did

Then I looked more into Bernie and etc

And was like maybe I’m wrong about this

And then holy hell

Everything changed

Learned about the Military Industrial Complex

Learned about how Bernie isn’t a full on socialist, and definitely not a communist

My whole world flip flopped

Learned that people like Ben Shapiro and Dave Rubin use tons of logical fallacies to come off as “smart”

I think we have to be compassionate the ignorant to get them to decide to educate themselves. As much as their ignorance may be annoying at times. Psychologically punishment (aka telling them they’re wrong) doesn’t work as well as praising them (telling them when they’re right, and showing them what is right). I mean you need both, but if we can at least budge them closer to the truth, the closer we will be to a better society.
