Faith is trust, which is the only try foundation for obedience. We trust Him initially and repent and believe, and then He proves his faithfulness and trustworthiness more and more as we continue to submit and trust Him. Which then produces more faith as we see His faithfulness. It is not from within ourselves but indeed must be joined with following Him in obedience. โAnd we, who with unveiled faces, all reflect the Lords glory, with an ever increasing glory, which is from the Lord, who is the Spirit.โ I.e. as we see him we start to look like Him and we see Christ more clearly through a continual and growing revelation from the Spirit.
