On the topic of black powder revolvers, I recently found out there are more people in my state than I originally thought that carried them.
wasnt there a law against that?
In my state you can get a concealed carry permit at 18 but of course you still can’t buy a handgun until 21 unless it’s through a private sale. So apparently a lot of 18-21 year olds are buying black powder revolvers to carry.
Lmao
if i ever move to america
and get the proper licences
the first gun i will ever get is a S&W Model 627
YOu might want to naturalize before trying to buy guns
much less paperwork
Where i live you can own a black powder gun, but if you also own powder or cartridges you must have a. (May issue) firearms license or you face 7 years in jail
But you can have a SAA or musket on the wall and its ok. But if you shoot it ever then, well, you must be a criminal apparently
I guess I should be prepared for all these eyepatch wearing, grog drinking , musket shooting pirates we apparently have an issue with
@majorepic. They should just build kit 1911s. That's what I had planned to do before I was 21, but I had to put the hobby down to deal with life stuff.
I think a lot of them don’t realize you can do that or don’t want to take the time to build it
I kind of want an American Long Rifle
Both for satisfying historical curiosity and muzzleloader hunting, which was also historically correct
Issue with building an 80% 1911 is that you still need to be 21 in order to buy pistol ammo
Or at least you do in my state
Buy online lmao
_Oh, yeah_
Buy from shops that don't give a shit or take your word for it that it's for a "long gun"
yeah sometimes they wouldn't sell but the moment I said "9mm carbine" they were like "ok how many boxes you want"
Personally I just buy where I work, they give me a discount and don't card me
