hey everyone

Ive always wanted to have a civil debate with a flat-earther if any one is interested

They have lots of different things that somewhat work but i still am yet to see a single model that shows everything that is happening to earth at once

Ok well if according to the model seasons change because the sun moves from tropic to tropic, then what is the force that moves the sun inwards and outwards? And wouldnt the sun need to speed up to go around the tropic of cancer and make a full orbit around the center in the same amount of time it takes if it was at the tropic of capricorn? There are more things i could name that contradict with the model but just that for now.

I understand that its very diverse but for the flat earth to exist at all there has to be a model describing how every phenomena we experience is happening on a flat earth, for example if you cant describe the coreolis effect and seasons at the same time then how is it actually happening in the real world.

In specific cases i guess but the ones that happen on earth can easily be explained by a globe model but not so much my an FE model

Yeah people have been measuring curvature since atleast 200 B.C

Thats probably off by many years but weve been doing this for a long time

actualy my guess was suprisingly close lmao we first calculated curvature in 240 B.C
