@Meerkat_RSA I guess I speak for myself when saying: heaven forbid DA wins. As of this morning I feel the same about ACDP. And what worries me about COPE, is that they share the same vision for a unified, diverse, multiculturalism SA, which is a vision I personally don't believe in, anymore. It seems the only options now are parties like Front Nasionaal or FF+... Just months ago I was very much anti-racist, pro-multiculture, and an ardent DA supporter. Goes to show how quickly things can change

Also scary how a party like ACDP which claims to be based on Christian values, can support a policy such as legalization of annexation of private property when God very explicitly condemns theft (and without any exception), and to even go as far as to ridicule Ernst for bringing a reasonable alternative perspective to a one-sided bigoted debate. Just another "democratic party" abomination that is only concerned with sheeple electioneering

Sup all. There was some talk late last year about some big announcement for early 2019 regarding what appeared to be a potentially new political party or something of that sort. Does anyone remember anything about this or know what happened to that big vision? May is around the corner and people are very divided on which party to vote for. DA have alienated a large chunk of their voter base and many blacks are hellbent on voting for EFF in spite of their unrealistic/unattainable manifesto, for no other reason than ensuring that they avoid ANC this year. Seems like the country does need another option, besides the usual minority party contenders of course
