To be saved you have to:

1. Hold the Catholic faith
2. Be Water baptized

Pope Eugene IV, Council of Florence, โ€œCantate Domino,โ€ 1441, ex cathedra: โ€œThe Holy Roman Church firmly believes, professes and preaches **that all those who are outside the Catholic Church**, not only pagans but also Jews or heretics and schismatics, cannot share in eternal life and will go into the everlasting fire which was prepared for the devil and his angels, unless they are joined to the Church before the end of their lives; that the unity of this ecclesiastical body is of such importance that only those who abide in it do the Churchโ€™s sacraments contribute to salvation and do fasts, almsgiving and other works of piety and practices of the Christian militia productive of eternal rewards; and that nobody can be saved, no matter how much he has given away in alms and even if he has shed blood in the name of Christ, unless he has persevered in the bosom and unity of the Catholic Church.

โ€œ**And if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost**, in whom the god of this world [Satan] hath blinded the minds of unbelievers, that the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not shine unto them.โ€
2 Corinthians 4:3:

Pope St. Pius X, Acerbo Nimis (# 2), April 15, 1905:โ€œAnd so Our Predecessor, Benedict XIV, had just cause to write: โ€˜**We declare that a great number of those who are condemned to eternal punishment suffer that everlasting calamity because of ignorance of those mysteries of faith** which must be known and believed in order to be numbered among the elect.โ€™โ€

That is why we should preach the faith as much as possible....

And God is angry when we don't evangelize...

You are in darkness and you need to become a Catholic

It's Catholic dogma that Outside of it the is absolutely no salvation.
You should become a Catholic.

Now, this comes down to Orthodoxy vs. Catholic debate.
Bible proves the teachings of the Catholic church.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6KV6PXSODgE

Yes, I know about it.
That is why you should become a Catholic.
If you are worried about "muh Traditions" Catholicism also has Byzantine rite.

How can the Church of God be heretical?
>False baptism
What do you mean by that?
>view on sin
There is Biblical proof for distinction between mortal and venial sin
https://www.catholic.com/magazine/online-edition/mortal-and-venial-sin

Yes, this is true

I don't have 50 minutes, summarize @Deleted User

@Deleted User Btw Freemasons and Jews really hate Catholicism

Yes, but he was an epic heretic

I mean, he was literally inspired by the devil

It focuses more on the theological aspect

@Deleted User Ok, can you summarize that video

Ok, can you give me the arguments he makes?

Ok, Catholics believe that Original sin is a consequence of this first sin, the hereditary stain with which we are born on account of our descent from Adam.
Every human was born with the Original sin (except the Virgin Mary).
Original sin is similar to mortal sin. Anyone who dies in the state of mortal sin goes to hell. The only way to cleanse Original sin, is through baptism.

I mean, make an argument.
I am not really familiar with the Orthodox view on it.
@Deleted User

Ok, so you believe that every human is born with Original sin, right?

A lot of prots don't believe in it

Lutherans at least have some theology...
I am talking about people like Baptists, Evangelicals etc.

Nah, I mean like Evangelical denominations like in America

"Israel is our greatest ally" types

Ah, I see...well Lutherans are at least a bit more "traditional" when it comes to theology.

I have seen a Luther liturgical calendar

I think they have a Martin Luther King feast day

Ah, well...just become a Catholic

@Deleted User Do you make a distinction between the Original sin and Actual sin?

But there is clearly the distinction between the two.
Original sin is a consequence of first sin, the hereditary stain with which we are born on account of our descent from Adam.
Actual sins, on the other hand, are those which one commits personally.

I didn't watch the video...

Ok, but what argument does the video make?

You still haven't explained how Orthodox percive original sin...

Yeah, I have read it.
Let's start with the complicated...
I know a thing or two about theology.

Nigga, you can't just post a wiki page..
Is this a debate or what?

I could still defend it like this

I mean, I didn't need to post a link.
I could have defended my point through messages...

But anyway...let me take a closer look at the wiki

Half of the article is that Vatican document lol

And they didn't defend their position.
They even said that the teaching of St. Augustine was affirmed on two synods (I know that synods are not infallible)
Also, I don't think Orthodox fully understand what we mean by guilt.

Btw gtg sleep.
We will continue tomorrow

>Nevermind the fact Catholicism didn't exist

>You can't speak of independent Catholics
Church Fathers believed in a Church with the head in Rome.
For example:

"The blessed Peter, the chosen, the preeminent, the first among the disciples, for whom alone with himself the Savior paid the tribute [Matt. 17:27], quickly gasped and understood their meaning. And what does he say? โ€˜Behold, we have left all and have followed youโ€™ [Matt. 19:27; Mark 10:28]"
-Clement of Alexandria

"Among these [apostles] Peter alone almost everywhere deserved to represent the whole Church. Because of that representation of the Church, which only he bore, he deserved to hear โ€˜I will give to you the keys of the kingdom of heavenโ€™"
-Saint Augustine

"In seeking the things of God . . . you have acknowledged that judgment is to be referred to us [the pope], and have shown that you know that is owed to the Apostolic See [Rome], if all of us placed in this position are to desire to follow the apostle himself [Peter] from whom the episcopate itself and the total authority of this name have emerged"
-Pope Innocent I

Also, the term "Catholic Church" existed since the 1st century
