2033 Redux + Last Light Redux bundle is often on sale for <$5
if you include all DLC? probably a train simulator
$27,000 spacecraft in Star Citizen
$200
well I used to have a $340 pad for Dance Dance Revolution
one person has it listed for hundreds of thousands
other people have it listed for a few hundred
Styx's stream, surely
7 eastern
I believe
and he expects it to last at least three hours
longer if tossup races still haven't been called one way or another
he's going to have a bunch of guests on too (as of yet unnamed)
that'd be nice
I'm in one of the few super-liberal parts of NC, so I don't know how useful my votes are for the more local positions, but there are six state constitutional amendments on the ballot, so those I can affect at least.
voter ID law is one of them
which of course everyone is calling racist
Yeah, that's the big thing I don't get about the voter ID controversy. If I have a friend who I know isn't planning on voting, I could, if I were the sort to do it, vote once as myself and then again somewhere else as him as long as I know his address
and that shouldn't be possible
that Dame Pesos compilation always puts a smile on my face
even if I'm not a so-called deplorable
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UiWY0iRLV94 gotta love it
in NC we're off cycle for senate, and I live in the Raleigh area so there's no chance anyone other than the Democrat imcumbent will be elected to the House
He won 68.2%-31.8% in 2016
He's been in office since '96
oh wait make that '86, but he lost re-election in '94 by <1%, then won again in '96 and has been in since then
Other than voting for Gary Johnson in 2016, I've voted straight ticket Democrat my whole life. Not this time, though.
It's a damn shame Larry Sharpe got shoved out of the debates
I've heard him on the radio and on Rogan
Seems like he could do some good for NY
Sargon has Ian Miles Cheong and Tim Pool on his stream right now
so I'm listening to that until Styx is on
he keeps attaching himself to things
he's on ComicsGate Live pretty often
jesus >12k already
ah yeah Dan Bongino is good
just discovered him within the past couple weeks
He's got an interesting background
Isn't Mark Collett's presence on the Healstream the reason WSJ went after Ralph?
He's the one who debated AIU about the Holocaust, IIRC
Gavin's cousin is one of my favorite musicians but he himself is terrible
well he's not as bad as Maxine Waters or Diane Feinstein, that's for sure
but it's hard to be worse than Maxine
oh
no, Gavin Newsom
North Carolina has a few blue enclaves and the rest is deep red
Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill, Charlotte, and Asheville are super blue
the rest is as red as Idaho
yeah but this is all east coast
well, he probably had more money poured into his campaign than Trump did in 2016
it's because the remaining unreported precincts are in blue counties
so it really could flip
sure is aggravating though
Tim Pool seems to have been more redpilled the past two weeks than the entire rest of his life combined
wonder what he'll say about the Tucker Carlson thing
!agree
what
I'm not surprised by that poll at all
I can't even think of any democrats I'd vote for in 2020, and up until 2016 (Gary Johnson), I voted straight ticket
Tulsi Gabbard maybe, but it seems doubtful she'd run
Linda Sarsour 2020
would be tremendous
That's what I was just in the middle of typing a question about
Couldn't remember her name, but yeah
She's celebrated as an empowered woman
Donna Hylton
it was in 1985
she was sentenced 25-to-life in '86 and got out in '12
This is how she describes herself on her website:
My name is Donna Hylton but for twenty-seven years I was known as Inmate #86G0206.
In 1986 I was sentenced to 25 years-to-life for kidnapping and second-degree murder. I served the time at Bedford Hills Correctional Facility, the only maximum-security prison for women in New York State, and was released in 2012.
My lifelong journey is one of many emotional and physical prisons; I went from abused child to repeated rape victim to desperate teen mother to solitary confinement where the boundary of my world was a 6โx10โ [sic] cinder block room. Itโs a story of tremendous pain and suffering, but itโs also a love story about freedom, hope, survival, sisterhood, redemption, and forgiveness. Itโs about learning to love myself and fight for myself and for others.
Since my first day of freedom, Iโve been talking to politicians, to violent abusers, to teenagers, to prison officials, to victims, and to students to tell my story and the thousands of stories belonging to women not free to speak because they are silenced, behind bars, or dead.โ
image macro says a yard, which is just shy of a meter
so pretty much
Speaking of "Hitler did nothing wrong," I watched JF's election results stream and he had a bunch of legit alt-right people on. I'm Jewish (non-religious, though) and have been interested in hearing what kinds of ideas they have...been watching those folks for months now, and nothing they've said has truly shocked me until that stream.
It was a throwaway comment from David Duke
"People need to realize the United States has been on the wrong side of every war for the past 120 years"
actual white nationalists
David Duke, Richard Spencer, Mark Collett, etc
the same thing as what?
...I know.
I didn't say it does
I never even said the worst supremacist
just alt-right and white nationalist, which are the same thing
plus back around 2015 alt-right hadn't had its current definition popularized yet and meant people like Milo Yiannopoulos
not Richard Spencer
White nationalists *can* be white supremacists, but it's not a requirement
we meet again
yeah it's super busy
general and shitposting
and we're saying the same to you
no
white nationalist and alt-right are the same thing
white supremacist is different
but not mutually exclusive
If you're not a white nationalist, you're by definition not alt-right
well, not necessarily kill
but at least subjugate
no
a white person who is a civic nationalist is not a "white nationalist"
