There was a news story a while ago about a goat in india that had it and it was apparently able to live for a while
I say let them kill each other
<:sad:382980750347206666>
Also you can act like a totalitarian without a state. Just use violence and intimidation to force people in to submitting into what you want them too. It's the antifa form of totalitarian
If microstate has power to enforce heterosexuality then wouldn't it also be suseptible to totalitarianism? If you have control over something as fundamental as that then you could easily expand your control over more of the people's lives
The how do they enforce heterosexuality without much power
The story of Lancaster and Palmdale is interesting
They used to be booming becaus of the aerospace industries. A lot of new homes were built to facilitate that in the early 90s but then the federal govt cut a lot of finding to aerospace after the cold war. It basically destroyed the 2 cities and they started having to move section 8 in to those abandoned homes
So we have 2 choices
1.Improve the system through better training and law procedures
2.give up our basic rights to defend ourselves
I wonder which one we should choose
There is no need for police if you are living like a complete primitive <:makes_you_think:382980749780844554>
No need for a law system if you just kill the ooga tribe when they wrong you <:makes_you_think:382980749780844554>
Hatfield's and McCoy's just the whole country this time
A priveledge granted by whom? The state?
^
Its fully within your rights to be an idiot and drink and drive on your own property. Its also fully within your rights to be an idiot and not understand how private ownership works
First the state (MI), then the federal if its gets more than what the state can handle
Also I'm surprised the gas station in Needles is still there. I though everyone on the Ca-AZ border just drove to AZ to get gas
Traveling is fun, but if I were to travel to an Islamic country, I would definitely spend time researching and preparing and I would go with people I trust
The United States (especially in the west) alone is beautiful too
Yeah the census classifies "Hispanics" as its own category (ethnicity) rather than race. Thus a large proportion of the white category and most of the other/mixed category is hispanic
It's not right though. There is not such thing as oversupply, because as the means of supply get more advanced, they also get cheaper
Does that mean used car salesmen aren't engaging in capitalism?
@MountainMan My contention was with the person saying that supply will outstrip demand due to low wages and that that will destroy the ecomomy. That doesn't make sense because low wages mean cheaper supply as well as lower demand so they cancel each other out.
Aggregate supply and demand I'm talking about here
US (cargo) rail is fantastic and is privatized. US (passenger) rail isn't as privatized and isn't that great.
Taxi companies and drivers want to keep the priveleges that local govts. have given them so they get the govt. to ban competitors
Its not that they *can't* compete, its that competition would destroy the priveleges they have unjustly earned at the expense of the consumer
If taxis were forced to they could probably end up cutting costs
Her record/policies on guns are pretty bad though https://www.votetulsi.com/node/25028
At least she isn't proposing a wealth tax
The U.S. should recognize Kurdistan in Iraq and Syria and put them under (non-socialist) friendly Iraqi Kurd leadership. Then give an ultimatum for Turkey to leave. That way we can force Turkey out, strengthen the Kurds and undermine Assad and the socialist Kurds.
Invade Thrace, set up a Turkish safe-zone for all the Turkish migrants in Germany <:makes_you_think:382980749780844554>
No give them to Macedonia and recreate Alexander's empire
Hellenize them all first then
Just like their ancestors
No one uses there guns in any way as they wish now because the "rules" are at least somewhat tolerable by everyone. And the ones that aren't tolerated can be changed legally. But what happens when that legal pathway disappears and tyranny appears? There is no choice but to use guns
They can ensure that everyone gets protected equally with the power they have
Gun ownership doesn't make an individual free (although it does in some circumstances) it makes a society free
No, guns aren't the only thing necessary for freedom, a populace willing to defend their natural rights and not be slaves is also necessary
It is a defensive measure against tyranny, which is the opposite of freedom
The whole point of gun ownership isn't that guns are magically going to make everyone free, no one has been arguing that. Its that they allow a people to be free since it gives more power to the people rather than the state. That being said, a freedom mentality is still necessary. Yemen has guns but no freedom mentality so they have no freedom. Hong Kong has a freedom mentality but no guns so they have no freedom. The US and much of the West has both and thus they have freedom
Guns are necessary to ensure freedom, they aren't the *only* thing that is necessary but they are still necessary
Sale on all the other paradox games too
2012 was crazy. For some reason I remember it more than 2011 and 2013
Yeah the largest opposition group to Putin is righteously communist <:super_edgy:426099058466095119>
@MountainMan I like how it cuts everytime right after he throws it to it going in
We should have just annexed all of it in 1848, the radical arm of the Democratic party was right then for once <:pepe_smug:560207654207750154>
It's not just that though, the Cartels make a ton of money from oil theft and kidnapping among other things. If we legalized drugs it would help but it would not get rid of the problem. A bigger problem is the corruption in Mexican society that they take advantage of.
Just do what the state of Nevada does for brothels, just for hard drugs
Legalize them, but keep them under watch/regulation
@Capitรกn Alatriste Is it legal to own brothels there?
Thats how Nevada does it as well
No but it's got it's problems
It's better than California in many ways
The brothels in Nevada aren't contributing to it's problems though. They aren't legal in the cities (LV and Reno) and the biggest problems in rural Nevada are extremely high suicide rates (and I'm sure brothels are helping more than hurting there)
That will hurt the bottom line of the Cartels but it won't get rid of the problem. They'll just bring it over in submarines or airplanes
True
If we legalize hard drugs while still putting pressure on the cartels, the legitimate suppliers will win out due to lower costs (they won't have to deal with the DEA) and thus lower prices
Also bombing cartels would be difficult considering they often blend in in major cities before and after they attack. They are even more low key than middle eastern Insurgencies. The attack on Culiacan was an exception

Why not just go to Thailand and pay for it yourself <:thronk:441701565607444482>
It would be a lot easier to get treated for gender dysphoria than to transition. Maybe he should think about that
That's what it is though. Liberalism doesn't just mean 20th or 21st century leftism. It's a political movement that went back into the 1800s that used to mean devotion to individual liberty
We should reclaim the term liberal. The left doesn't deserve it
Also that picture was taken when he was remodeling
"The refusal of care rule was an unlawful attempt to allow health care providers to openly discriminate and refuse to provide necessary health care to patients based on providersโ โreligious beliefs or moral objections,โ" New York Attorney General Letitia James, who led the lawsuit for the states, said. "We will continue to use every tool at our disposal to protect access to health care and **protect the rights of all individuals**.โ <:HonkHonk:566814473646768128>
Bolivia is especially bad since Evo Morales is in charge. He's like Maduro-lite
No one should be confusing the Chilean protests and the Hong Kong protests. The Hong Kong protests are legitimate protests against a totalitarian state. The Chilean protests are a bunch of left-wingers finding an excuse to riot and then doing so
What Pinera did there was right. This only supports his case and weakena the case of the rioters against him
I wouldn't if I were him. I wouldn't give in to the rioters. I would do more to prevent atrocities by the govt forces however
Chile is the nicest capitalist country on that entire continent
Which isn't saying much I know
If the majority voted in a neolib govt than the rioters don't represent the majority
You can react to a shitty situation without rioting and burning shit down. This argument sounds like one a blm activist would make. "It was the instructional racism that caused those blacks to burn down their local community" .
