It's a matter of how hard it hits, for lack of a better term. Some people take a lot of damage before going down. Used to work in an ER and people would still be up and around with bullets in them. Sure they're bleeding and likely to die without help, but in the short term, I'm looking for something with more kick.

Basically you want the optimum balance between stopping power and something you can shoot without breaking your wrist

No argument there, but I consider the "he wasn't right wing" to be disingenuous. He held views that are more right than left. Dayton held views more left than right.
