and i got interested on the robot question.

Can we categorise an alert system that notifies a robot of its external and internal damage as a form of pain?
This is something that would not be simulated. Actual analysis of damage. A logical machine would take more urgent actions the more urgent its damage is. Is this not a form of pain alert and reaction to it?
