he's not worth less money, he just isnt fit for the job
you guys are literally arguing for having incompetent people do highly demanding jobs for less pay
I dont have a PhD in physics. Would they let me teach a class that requires a PhD for less pay?
@Antiboom Ok dude. I'll only say this once because I am tired of this stupid argument. We already let people do the jobs they are capable of doing. If someone isnt capable, then they are not hired (typically).
If they are capable, then they should earn the same as everyone else who's capable. Thats equality.
If you still dont get it, please see a doctor, and have your brain checked.
@Antiboom ok then they earn the same, because they are doing what they can, and so does everyone else.
you cant intentionally create inequality, because we're not all just as skilled.
in reality, you're not even "earning" anything. stuff is given to you in exchange for your labor. they can take that away if they want, or reduce your "earnings"
@Antiboom yeah, what problem do you have with that?
you're not enforcing anything, you just recognize that we are not all equally good at everything, so you treat people as if they are equals, recognizing that they are doing what they can
money doesnt even create proper incentives, it just makes people selfish and greedy anyway
@M4Gunner you're right we're not, but we have the same value as human beings, and thats it
@thatguykyle you dont need to outperform others, you just need to do your job well to add something to society
trying to be better than others is exactly the kind of mentality that this fucked up system has generated
@M4Gunner yeah i know that to you retards everything that isnt capitalistic is commie
@Dillon its not communism at all, especially since you dont understand half of it
also, the dishonest tactic of calling something "communism" or fascism as a way to dismiss ideas and arguments is the most commonly employed in today's society
instead of arguing with "but you're a commie!" try to address the actual claims and arguments
also, realize that the communism vs capitalism is a false dichotomy
I am sure you are <:pepe_smug:560207654207750154>
@M4Gunner and you dont want to hear the truth either
@Antiboom and you're literally a fascist. thanks for playing
We'll switch sides: I will call you a commie, and you call me a fascist
you all just want to argue in the way of "but you're a commie!"
and then dismiss everything the other person has said
you dont actually deserve more attention than what you've been given
the "everyone I disagree with is a Commie/Nazi" fallacy is so common, its disgusting
@Antiboom said the person who literally didnt bother to understand anything i said
In any case, when you all are willing and capable to engage honestly, I will be more than glad to talk to you
@Antiboom you were not told you should be called fascist, dont lie
yeah really, and if you bothered to understand what they other person said, you wouldnt appear to lie like that
yeah, did you not get the point there? @Antiboom
i told you that labeling someone a commie or fascist, is easy, and is a commonly deployed tactic to dismiss someone's arguments
and now I have to repeat that for the 3rd time (at least) because you cant or wont read and understand
Now if you try to engage honestly in the future, you'd have my respect no matter how much we disagree
yeah see? this person ๅ ญๅไบไปถ ๅคฉๅฎ้ๅคงๅฑ ๆฎบ 1989 just validated what i said
before you go ahead with your labeling, it might be best to understand the other person's position
I dont go around calling people communists or capitalists based on little or no information
@Antiboom yeah because then you might understand why jumping to conclusions and labeling someone hastily like that might be foolish
@Antiboom Ok then, I'll gladly correct you: Communism has a state, a government, it has laws and money, it has prisons and law enforcement, and its rooted in collectivism. I reject all of these things in principle, and the latter, collectivism, I reject as a whole in all its forms
I am an anarcho-commie who rejects collectivism entirely. Yes, it makes perfect sense
@Antiboom First of all, allow me to admit that I was wrong about you, since you clearly are engaging in an honest way now. I misjudged you. apologies
@Antiboom i do believe in said principle to some degree, just not taken as an absolute.
now as for the previous question of government/authority, I dont believe that we can achieve these things by forcing people into it. I believe that the best chance humanity has got is to change fundamentally, as a culture in a radical way.
Our best hope is to somehow cultivate a culture that is routed in social cooperation and working together, as opposed to competing with each other and the "to each their own" mentality that we have today.
How we cultivate such a culture, I do not know @Antiboom
I have listened to a lot of the thing that the Zeigeist Movement proposes and talks about, as well as the work of Peter Joseph, and they are correct about a lot of things, the only issue is, all of their proposals are routed in some kind of fundamental change in humanity, and they offer no clear pathway to get there.
I suggest you look into that, but it takes time to understand what they're saying, as its very extensive.
and I would encourage everyone to stop making assumptions and jump to conclusions, because labeling something as communism or whatever, and then quickly dismissing it, is unwise. Instead, look at the actual proposals and solutions, and see if they check out
@Antiboom we are naturally one of the most socially cooperative species on the planet
we literally have A LOT of trouble living completely alone
if we were naturally competitive like that, you'd see humans behaving more like Cheetahs, rather than chimpanzees or meerkats
We have actually evolved as hunters-gatherers in small nomadic tribes
@Antiboom you are in agreement with me on this one
Anyway, the claim that humans are naturally competitive and dont tend to work together is something that doesnt check out, and contradicts our evolutionary history and biological nature
@Fitzydog the fact that we've had tribes for such a long time, confirms my point. stop taking things to an absolute
@Antiboom again, dont take this to an absolute. re-read what i previously said
@Fitzydog ok so in your mind, either we are competitive or cooperative. black or white. no nuance then. no degrees
@Fitzydog that literally made no sense. try again
yeah.....I'm the one who refuses to listen
Manifest DestinyToday at 11:53 PM
Why? You're a fucking leftist piece of shit imo
I am a leftist piece of shit commie anarcho-commie
in any case, I'll address the ones that arent retarded assholes like @Fitzydog
@Pope Pingu yes there are hierarchies that arise naturally within tribes. Typically, the ones viewed as the most experienced and capable, are recognized as leaders by mostly everyone, and are followed.
Yes there are people that want to be in charge and contest the leaders.
Yes tribes sometimes or even often compete for resources, they are essentially forced to
all of this doesnt mean that as a species we just try to look for ways to screw everyone over, we seek each other and try to cooperate, because we've evolved like that, to work together as families, tribes etc, in a general sense. IF you stopped taking this to an absolute, you'd fucking understand
@Fitzydog when you stop being a condescending douchebag who's angry at me for some reason, you will get my full attention. Right now you're giving me the impression that you just want a pissing content, not a debate.
@Amir Ok. Explain then the value of predicting the movement of money, in order to make more money. Stock exchange. What is the value in that?
@Tricerius I understand. I dont need to engage in that kind of thing though. I do have the option though!
@Amir No, what is the value in making money without producing anything for society?
@Amir then why do you have stock exchange and billionaires making even more billions simply because they got tons of money in the bank?
oh but you do. Just have millions or even billions in a bank account, and yes you "magically" make money. Same for stock exchange
He just didnt manage to say "Was just a prank bro!" before the allies swarmed in
