Ultimately, the victor of an argument like this is decided by the setting in which it took place. Leftists and Jews know that the common man, who cannot follow the conversation and makes decisions emotionally, makes up the majority of the audience, especially in periods of decline. So, they make emotional appeals and attacks on their opponent's character, which are easier to understand.
