There are over 20 genes responsible for skin color. Is it illogical to say that light or dark skin is dominant bc most mixed race people I meet are in between the complexions of both parents

Non whites love to brag about how the world will one day be black but dark skin isn’t always dominant, so how could this be the case? Plus there would be selective breeding with light skinned people favoring other light skinned people and having lighter skinned offspring

I’m looking for a serious answer to this... there is no basis in saying that light skin genes are dominant or recessive or dark skin right?
