Don't bother with identitarianism. Find like minded locals, buy land, start your own community. Taking back society starts with taking back your household, then your neighborhood, to your city, county, state/province, and so on.
Movements are diffuse, too spread out to have any real, immediate effect if the world doesn't already significantly lean that way. You have to build foundation from the ground up if you want your children to have a future.
I'd love to live with like minded folks. Problem is so many turn out to be useless practically speaking. It's fine to be an academic, but there is only room for so many. You need people who are actually willing to learn shit and do shit
Lot of people talk a good game, especially in trad circles, but I'm an architect. I can do manual labor, but my academic skills don't mean shit if I can't find someone who can do at least what I can physically
Where generally were you thinking?

Tbh, probably for the best these people aren't reproducing. They can't corrupt our children forever, eventually the strongest will be left and they'll die off and leave us in peace.
Thoughts on Bon Iver? Been kinda hooked lately, he's a bit of a degen stoner, and maybe has been influenced by some gnostics, but I can't help but feel his searching and slow progress towards the truth of things in his music.

I think it's actually a really good meditation on our smallness and insignificance, and the cosmic beauty in that, that our Creator would bestow something so small and insignificant in the face of eternity with the ability to experience
And while I think he's missing the why of it all maybe in his personal life, I always get the impression he's struggling his way there, and he makes some genuinely fascinating music struggling with himself along the way
There is a point where it all collapses. Things will be made right again. What has been broken will be remade. It's just a matter of patience and waiting for the Lord to reap his vengeance.
If you ever doubt, never forget Port Royale lol
Sodom and Gommorah were not the end of His wrath, thank Christ He shields *us* from it as the rest of the world incurs a debt of mercy so severe that only harm may correct it.
I actually was a huge fan of 22, A Million as well tbh

Side note, what's your guys' take on YWAM?
My cousin is doing like a 6 month total stint, and it sounded good but now that he's slipping me updates I'm not quite sure what to think. Mission work sounds good, but also a lot of not-necessarily-heresy-but-might-be-sketch charismatic shit getting tossed about
@Mozalbete ⳩ just out of curiosoty, where'd you find that abortion quote a bit back? That shit was fire
Idk man, something to be said about sola scriptora that could probably fix a lot of the sicknesses in the old Church. Prots can be a bit retarded throwing the baby out with the bathwater when it comes to broader tradition, but there's also no truer tradition than the Word ultimately speaking.
Marian heresies, for example, which spread like wilfire through feminist and feminist-vulnerable enclaves throughout the modern Catholic world
Not talking about the basic stuff I should add (that Mary was mother of Christ and blessed among women is Sola Scriptora in itself, and immaculate conception/perpetual virginity is pretty old tradition, but not necessarily a dealbreaker even if I don't buy it), I'm talking hardline Servite bullshit like Mary being an equal and Co-redemptrix with Christ.
"mentally deficient" and "buggery" -t. human insult thesaurus
lmao
I hear shapiro-like girls tend to be doctors
Oof meme too weak
Basically what I've been doing is building a library of technical knowledge for the collapse. I'm vulnerable where I am now, but where I settle will likely avoid the brunt of the collapse, so I think I'll be able to preserve it to build my community back up. Trying to collect original (or very old) and beater (to actually read) copies of all the major (and minor I get free when I save them from shuttering/remodeling religious institutions) theological works I can get my hands on, as well as a collection of bible translations, and a huge library of technical knowledge. I've got my own limited survival construction skills as well, but I think the rest of what I keep is more important long term. As long as I can instill in my kids the value of it, to keep it for themselves, and to add their own knowledge to it I think we'll be set.
I like that idea a lot though, the necessity of owning the culture for the sake of the lemming class. Growing up evangelical, it always depressed the shit out of me thinking about how many people are just permanently lost because they cannot go against the degenerate culture. That solves that issue. I think I'd still consider myself evangelical to some extent, but evangelism is useless in an ex-christian culture. You need a clean slate or a return go form before evangelism can take root again, the dry bones of a dead church may as well be salted earth spiritually.
Well I think the root of it is a desire to reach out and bring people to Christ. It's just that the desire overcomes and denegrates the tradition and values of the church in favor of "outreach," which metastasizes into spiritual cancer. The root is still there, it's just broken.
It's why I don't totally hate the current Hollywood megachurch pastors tbh. They do seem to be struggling to bring a lot of these celebrities back into the fold. There is just such a level of degeneracy they're stuck at a standstill and often concede where they should not, but I do believe (many) of their hearts are for Christ. I just think their minds are bound by the clownworld they live in.
Not to say they're good mind you. Just not evil, which is something big in the realm of fame

Came to post this but this is more wholesome than that pasta tbh
Chesterton is peak just by virtue of how fun he is to read, idk what it is about his style but it just makes me smile
I enjoyed Orthodoxy a lot, been a long time since I've read consistently so I don't remember most of it, but it's one of those books where I know it influenced my thinking a lot even if I can't name the specifics anymore
CLOWNS👏RISE👏UP👏 🤡🤡🤡
Same here tbh. Only been with the future wife, so I believe there can be redemption in that (lack of marriage is currently not our choice, life is just tough right now), but ultimately I've been a pretty bad fuck up lately. We're really trying to get right, but sexual sin is insidious as shit and it's hard to stay clear for the both of us, me especially being the head. Feels like shit.
Also, finally got to a doctor, turns out it's most likely a lot of my issues are psychological which kinda makes sense, but prayers for mental healing as well.
I guess overall just deliverance from where I am to where I've been created to be. I have been super lost lately and making a lot of shitty decisions, my faith hasn't wavered but my flesh has hardcore, and it's doing me in. I need some divine intervention soon because I just don't know how to move forward anymore. Just feel alone...
Definitely recommend Chesterton, especially to Catholics (who he was writing for in the first place). Man had a way with words, especially in his theological work.
Church growth mentality is cancer. Let God do the work, just preach and let the people hear. I don't understand the need to spice up perfection...

It's not
You think it's significant because your religion is science. Ultimately, it's just a set of meaningless numbers, because the measurements themselves are meaningless and have no way of proving anything without certain articles of faith attesting to their efficacy. You can have an infinitely precise number, but that doesn't prove the number exists in the first place. Only that a calculation works within a model that may or may not be real to begin.
Your belief system is literally nothing more than a void of metaphysics tbh, you're hanging on to empty measurements and ascribing psuedoreligious significance to them while blindly rejecting firm knowledge of anything outside essentially mathematics that might challenge a blindly mathematical worldview. The problem is that there is no significance to pure math in the same way there is no significance to a hammer and chisel. It is the hands that wield the tool that ascribe the significance, a chisel did not carve the David on its own.
