well shit I don't own any gear yet I just came from the link with the general guide for buying gear, I wanted to ask around about what I should buy before I bought anything. any good deals on good armor/plate carriers/chest rigs rn? is spending $145 more to go from an ach to an ech helmet worth it? is that level IV $99 battle steel armor any good, or should I get a different brand? I can leave after I get some advice if you want since I don't have any gear

I checked and it listed them as lvl IV from hesco, just wanted to make sure. It also said there were like 25 plates at lvl IV named 4401 on the NIJ site

I've been trying to find them online and I'm not finding much

Are hesco 4520s equivalent to xsapis?

I read that ATT Tactical sells those for $1100 each to LE/military only, but I could probably have a relative in the military get them for me
