Are hesco 4520s equivalent to xsapis?

I read that ATT Tactical sells those for $1100 each to LE/military only, but I could probably have a relative in the military get them for me

From what I've been told they're designed to stop most every AP threat on the market currently. I'm not sure the complete specifics on what they're tested to though.

So does that mean the hesco 4520s aren't as good as xsapis?

They use the same rating from what I've found. But they don't exist any more.

From all I've found XSAPI's and XSAPI rated plates were rare even when they were being made, and were only adopted by a few big dick units and the FBI, then shelved quickly afterwards since they were made for threats people never ran into.

You really won't find much better protection on the market though.

The only things I heard about that were better are super LIBA plates that are supposed to take 20+ hits of M993

But those sound absolutely nonexistent
