@Deleted User you want to kill drug addicts ?

2018-05-06 00:34:15 UTC
2018-05-06 00:34:23 UTC

i never said that

2018-05-06 00:34:33 UTC

Wait

2018-05-06 00:34:35 UTC

Nvm

2018-05-06 00:34:54 UTC

it was a question.

2018-05-06 00:35:03 UTC

no

2018-05-06 00:35:07 UTC

i dont

2018-05-06 00:35:26 UTC

@Werlf yeah, I thought about him. duterte.

2018-05-06 00:35:26 UTC

who is that? @Werlf

2018-05-06 00:35:36 UTC

oh ok

2018-05-06 00:35:37 UTC

Duterte, leader of the Phillippines

2018-05-06 00:35:42 UTC

literally wants to kill all druggies

2018-05-06 00:35:45 UTC

yeah now i remember

2018-05-06 00:37:00 UTC

I think that if you're a drug addict you should be denied welfare

2018-05-06 00:37:06 UTC

thats a good incentive to work

2018-05-06 00:37:19 UTC

it's a start

2018-05-06 00:37:48 UTC

or we should do the Switzerland thing

2018-05-06 00:37:50 UTC

You need help, denying welfare will not help anybody.

2018-05-06 00:38:04 UTC

it's a multifaceted problem

2018-05-06 00:38:28 UTC

opening clinics which provide an endless amount of drugs for these people, which somehow fixed the swiss heroin crisis

2018-05-06 00:38:33 UTC

I don't remember how it worked

2018-05-06 00:38:49 UTC

Swiss had a heroin crisis?

2018-05-06 00:38:57 UTC

yos

2018-05-06 00:39:47 UTC

didnt portugal try that too?

2018-05-06 00:40:04 UTC

@Werlf
Different mindset, different people, different amount of population

2018-05-06 00:40:05 UTC

or is still trying it, i cant remember

2018-05-06 00:40:13 UTC

It can work on a small scale

2018-05-06 00:40:20 UTC

But on a big scale? Nope

2018-05-06 00:40:49 UTC

@Deleted User
Portugal de criminalized carrying drugs until a certain quantity if I'm not wrong

2018-05-06 00:41:33 UTC

the population thing is definitely a factor that people forget to take into consideration

2018-05-06 00:41:43 UTC

then what do we do

2018-05-06 00:41:47 UTC

Decrimilizing all drug use/possession is the only liberal solution

2018-05-06 00:42:03 UTC

@Werlf
Stop giving welfare to drug addicts

2018-05-06 00:42:05 UTC

It would help

2018-05-06 00:42:09 UTC

Besides that?

2018-05-06 00:42:16 UTC

I honestly don't know

2018-05-06 00:42:22 UTC

Regulation won't work

2018-05-06 00:42:29 UTC

Stop incentivizing the trade

2018-05-06 00:42:30 UTC

You have to convince people to not use it

2018-05-06 00:42:48 UTC

End the artificial scarcity and watch the drug war end overnight

2018-05-06 00:43:01 UTC

And not do it, the traffic and the manufacturing

2018-05-06 00:45:21 UTC

It won't be so prevalent when it isn't so profitable

2018-05-06 00:45:42 UTC

The reason it spreads is because of dealers, not users

2018-05-06 00:46:09 UTC

Just legalize everything, that would be a solution?

2018-05-06 00:46:24 UTC

I dont think so. It will end the criminal aspect to it, Consumers will still be there.

2018-05-06 00:47:12 UTC

If you can no longer sell it for nearly as much post-legalization, you eventually reach a point that you can't sell it for enough to profit vs the risks involved with illegal import

2018-05-06 00:48:04 UTC

Why would I buy drugs from Colombia sent over in a rickety boat and passed through 30 different guys when I could get it from the guy down the street?

2018-05-06 00:48:27 UTC

You kill the money behind the drug, that's the point

2018-05-06 00:49:09 UTC

i think people would be more likely to seek treatment if it wasn't illegal, and you would also eliminate the shady people that run the business, giving people less opportunity to fall into that sort of crowd

2018-05-06 00:49:09 UTC

sure, that part I get, but the consumers will still be there.

2018-05-06 00:49:58 UTC

Total legalization in this case?

2018-05-06 00:50:50 UTC

fuck happened here

2018-05-06 00:51:01 UTC

i think what you really need to do is look at all the reasons people get into drugs in the first place, and try to work on that as well. like i said before there isnt just one solution, there needs to be many changes in different aspects of society as a whole.

2018-05-06 00:51:10 UTC

@Deleted User
Exactly, fuck happened here

2018-05-06 00:51:20 UTC

We gangbanged @radeon

2018-05-06 00:51:40 UTC

lol

2018-05-06 00:51:52 UTC

Now, back to the conversation

2018-05-06 00:52:26 UTC

Idk, I don't see as something right, the legalization of heavy drugs like heroin, meth and crack

2018-05-06 00:52:43 UTC

But yeah, I understand the point Radeon is trying to make

2018-05-06 00:53:50 UTC

@Baraban our welfare system is extremely fucked up

2018-05-06 00:54:16 UTC

There is little or no incentive to get off of welfare and it's very easy to get a livable wage from the state even if you aren't disabled

2018-05-06 00:54:34 UTC

Also, how much in $$ the legalization of those drugs would hurt the dealers?

2018-05-06 00:54:39 UTC

Every single person in the US can afford an iphone?

2018-05-06 00:54:53 UTC

we're rich

2018-05-06 00:54:57 UTC

@Baraban
That's not the point

2018-05-06 00:54:58 UTC

I mean if welfare is enough for that

2018-05-06 00:55:22 UTC

Our homeless can't afford iphones

2018-05-06 00:55:28 UTC

At least I don't think they can

2018-05-06 00:55:32 UTC

Why are there trailer parks and tent cities besides roads in the USA?

2018-05-06 00:55:48 UTC

I only know weed an an example, in my state it's not legal and street price is $250/Ounce, where it's legal it's as low as $100/oz and the theoretical minimum profit margin for an ounce of weed is $60

2018-05-06 00:55:53 UTC

our tax dollars go to new rims

2018-05-06 00:56:31 UTC

@radeon
Can you translate to real world metrics? I honestly don't understand the american measurement system

2018-05-06 00:56:36 UTC

And if I can grow it legally or buy it from a store then there is no need for the entire illegal trade

2018-05-06 00:56:49 UTC

An ounce is 28g or so

2018-05-06 00:56:58 UTC

@radeon
I do think it should be expanded to the whole country, it would hit even harder the cartel

2018-05-06 00:57:04 UTC

@radeon
Thanks

2018-05-06 00:57:21 UTC

Oh so 100$ doesn't sound that expensive

2018-05-06 00:57:30 UTC

For 28g

2018-05-06 00:57:38 UTC

The price per gram is pretty meaningless since the less weed you buy the more you pay per weight

2018-05-06 00:57:38 UTC

Also, cocaine should be legalized too

2018-05-06 00:58:02 UTC

My problem is heavy drugs

2018-05-06 00:58:05 UTC

All drags should be legal

2018-05-06 00:58:07 UTC

$100 for an O is amazing, I pay $60 for 1/4 oz

2018-05-06 00:58:28 UTC

But street price is $90

2018-05-06 00:58:51 UTC

90$ for 1/4 oz?

2018-05-06 00:59:07 UTC

my friend used to pay like 300 for an ounce iirc

2018-05-06 00:59:19 UTC

The stuff they smoke here is ridiculous

2018-05-06 00:59:25 UTC

Full of wood chips

2018-05-06 00:59:27 UTC

Smelling like shit

2018-05-06 00:59:48 UTC

Some dudes in my uni showed me the stuff they got, and I was like... Why are you smoking that?

2018-05-06 01:00:11 UTC

did it look like brick shavings?

2018-05-06 01:00:18 UTC

I guess so

2018-05-06 01:00:25 UTC

Skunk weed

2018-05-06 01:00:29 UTC

yeah

2018-05-06 01:00:34 UTC

All my shit is medical grade

2018-05-06 01:00:39 UTC

Honestly? It's fucking stupid

2018-05-06 01:00:44 UTC
