can you name them
are these any good ?
They tend not to last very long but you can just buy another since they're cheap
The one I had lost any ability to pick up my voice and that was after around 5 months of normal use
Not sure if these are 100% the same as the real one from V-Moda but that one has been surprisingly high quality and durable.
Any good earbuds with mic?
I've been used faaeal iris 2.0
It was solid
๐ค do chifi bone conduction "headphones" exist?
if there's a patent for them
if there is the headsize will be problem
also risk of chinanium specs giving cochlear damage with bone conduction due no limiters or malfunctioning ones
afaik best batterylife model for smart price currently is aftershoks titanium sport whatever model
beingh about 60usd + possible shipping
I see a lot of gymfags wearing wireless bose headphones, anything compare to them?
Never buy bose
Overpriced garbage unless you're going for noise cancelation or niche uses
Just get any pair of regular IEMs and get a bluetooth wireless cable for them
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/33033832728.html This is very similar to the model I have
its not chi-fi, but my new headphones came in
the red packages next to it are my zmf earpads
ive been wanting a pair of these for a long time now
when my Superlux 668Bs died (after 6 years of daily use)
i decided to get them
I kind of fixed my dzat df-10s (jack went out)
I listened to less than 2 min of music and it broke again smh
Still reminded me that t2s are absolutely horrible, and df-10s are best buds I ever got
just unlucky af with cables
t2 > all
absolutely cannot agree
Maybe mine are knockoffs
T2 cable is kill
Bass heavy and songs don't sound right at all
t2 is definitely not bass heavy
I like my T2s
then again all o listen to is eurobeat and boomer rock
I got the same one @TrueRoze, does it have the volume knob and call control too?
nope
it's just a plain cable
ah you got the plain variant
it's greyish and coated in a polymer tho right
yeah
updated my m0 to 3.1 fw
its waaay better
it has a quick menu now
I have used that cable with no problems
waa i cant wait for my xiaomeme airdots
here we recommend the QCY meme
still like my rn-qt2 sound better than t2s
though I'm usually in loud places so I want elevated bass
@TrueRoze https://www.ebay.com/itm/MMCX-Audio-Cable-Cord-w-Mic-Volume-Control-for-Shure-se215-se425-se535-Blac-FU/123873119251 I've got this (or a very similar version) and it has served me very well
might order it then
I have the mic version, the mic is total poo and picks up every little whiff of wind and turns it into noise but I bought it for the media control
dont forget these for your sound system too https://www.audiostream.com/content/audioquest-vodka-ethernet-cable-and-diamond-ethernet-cable
best part is:that shill ^ straight out says it affects audio... placebo is fucking real
"this makes my ones and zeroes sound more ones and zeroes mate"
god DAMN are the Zircon ROCK good value, very durable too.
Didn't know they were still a thing
>people on Reddit are Shilling their kz's they bought on amazon
lmao
let them
>people on csg are shilling their tin t2s they bought on aliexpress
and *not* from assdrop <:alismirk:230784726615588865>
>not even using ebay for chinkshit
boomers know better than redditors
<:pepelaugh:615974280706129941>
i hate the stock t2 cable sooo much
it is guaranteed to tangle 100% of the time
are you sure t2 is not bass heavy?
maybe you're not getting the proper fit
I feel like its has some pretty good low end responses there
since I've got spinfits it was pretty good
but you have to get the proper fit, sealing your ear canals
i think your ears are broken
t2 has bass quality but not quantity
its definitely not bass **heavy**
Can confirm not bass heavy at all
it's got literally no bass unless you ventmod
It's not even bass quality
Like holy shit stop shilling it has good mids and highs but the bass is trash tier
Even regular lows are weak
t2 > all
At this point even KZ has better offerings. They were king a year ago but now there are so many other options
oh right, not bass HEAVY but the bass is good
the vent mod makes it pretty good
It is absolute shit tier
weeeeeeeeeeee opinions on things that matter on ~~personal body fat~~ pure luck
and perceived "good" baseline
weeeeee
./rant
(but i agree that rock zircons are nice)
i found a picture of an anime girl wearing the headphones i just bought
also its a whole manga
https://mangadex.org/chapter/288388/1
how fun
Nah the Tin T2 does have decent bass, it's just natural and not emphasized
@Billy Yum Yum Two-By-Two there's a audiophile anime
I still have a pile of headphone anime grills by lunatic joker somewhere
finally an anime that embodies my autism
I don't think they made a /pol/tard anime
Magi ?
thats quite political bullshit
not current time or world but still
ah
The Legend of Koizumi ":D"
also id say youjo senki comes quite close to being that kind of anime
"national socialist german loli thrown into World war enviroment"
~give or take opinions
I wasn't asking for suggestions
i wasnt giving any
just saying there is shit made :P
there is "The Saga of Tanya the Evil"
more or less Nazi ideology in a WW2 era isekai
Not <#365921969004216320>
so, what's good in 2020?
price/quality? tin2? is there any meaningful difference with 3rd iteration and the "pro" one?
I like this dude and his channel because calls out other reviewers as shills and has autistically good hearing and ability to detect problems
He also tries out (with his own money) way more than the standard tin t2 and KZ shit
Like pretty sure he was the first westerner to even hear about the peacock p1 at the bottom right and those are now my favorite IEMs I've ever owned
i am not so sophisticated in terms of IEMs and ear phones/headphones/earbuds, whatever people call them these days... lul
lol'd at the writings on his palm
probably, any IEM gonna be better than my current sony earbuds
Yep, probably
In general I rec KZ or tin t2 in the sub-$50 price range, but the t2 are far from the magic that people here shill them as
They're better than a $20 set of KZs but worse than a $50 set of KZ which makes them about right at 30-35
@Wheeshnaw T2 ventmod makes them sound way better than any KZ trash
t2 vent mod kinda trash unless youre using some kinda specialty tape
too much bloat
and kz multi driver qc is garbage
I used blutack
Perfect seal made great bass
I hate to be the normie but I have been using my QCYs a lot
Same
faaeal iris 2.0 or toneking tp16?
yes i need earbuds that has mic init
I also QCU
Qcy
First wireless bud
I had a Bose budget sport earbuds but the fitting tightness destroys my ear
Alright my Urbanfun TS1 finally came in
First thing I noticed is that they are REALLY flimsy. Absolutely zero effort taken to make these things sturdy. Thin plastic, kinda rickety, but that's OK because they won't be leaving my desk area.
Second thing I noticed is that they are super quiet. My computer sound card barely gives em enough power but I'm planning on getting a USB amp anyway. Most phones will NOT have enough power for these headphones. LG V30 was fine but only when almost maxed out (which I've never had to do before)
HOWEVER - all that really matters is sound. And they sound damn good. Curiously sharp on the bass while being warm everywhere else - almost the polar opposite of my Peacock P1, which are currently my all-time favorite. But it's a nice sound. Bass and lows are elevated and mids are recessed - a v-shaped sound profile, but perhaps not as extreme as my three prior pairs of V-Moda headphones, which these are replacing.
As for comfort, they're comfortable. Simple as that. They should be really comfortable for small heads/ears as well as large ones. Part of that is due to their super lightweight (flimsy) construction, but also because the padding is pretty nice on them.
I'm going to give them a few days of listening before I post to <#491172628917256192> but I had high expectations for these and they are currently meeting them.
You going to some lengths to justify your purchase
they may sound good but that wont matter when they fall apart after a week of light use
is pinned message still relevant?
depends what you want fam
i was always into sony, wanna go full retard
Mh755 ๐ but j cable <:blobconfused:589100793420972042>
A lot of high end cans are super light like this, just typically not closed back sets so I as surprised. The TS1 was actually initially designed and sold by some big name western audio company but apparently the rights were sold to chinks
I've been listening to them more and I do like em a lot. Super comfy over long listening periods and the sound profile is very nice for electronic (which is my main shit) but also rock or, if you're into it, hip-hop
Which wireless chink IEMs do I go for if I literally just wanna use them on my way to work and at the gym?
@ICantBelieveItsSam what kinda budget
The lower the better but I'd be alright spending around 40usd
Should I also change out the eartips for something else? I've heard about spinfits, they any good?
Qcy
@basker any specific QCY i should go for?How are those true wireless ones <:thinkturt:498925089224654859>
The newest ones
How's this for babby's first DAC?
Oh no
He bought KZ
not yet
I mean it's a nice design but Kz has been eh for a while
every time new kz comes out, people laud it and say "its not like the old kz" and "kz finally learned..." but its always the same garbage
also >dap
just save your money honestly
either buy a bluetooth adapter or use your phone, both are cheaper than buying a dap
well i still have my kz-ate and phone i guess
and even if it was halfway decent, you still have chinese qc with 10 total drivers in mind
its not etymotic, youre not going to get the same sound from both earpieces due to tolerences
I'm finally fed up with my m0
Selling it on Craigslist
The killer was battery life
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WiwakQn-lps A new player has entered the game
im not watching this video until he live streams beating up crinacle
kek
Tfw still have my kz Ate from 3-4 years ago
It's amazing
Ordered new pads for my SHP9500, waiting for them to arrive
friend... shit9500 has no replaceable pad system
<:thonk:288060975775612929>
yes you can do it. no, its not meant to be removable
thats why they use glue
wait
I know
nvm im thinking of something else
you can unclick it from the cup
anyway the proprietary system they use is stupid
it is
glue has come undone on the left earpad
just want to slap something else on at this point
lost my carbo tenores, anything similar? Already have t2 but I need more bass-shit
Have you tried the t2 tape mod, or simply just eqing up the bass
Any good recommendation for replacements to Bose qc 35s that aren't shit
wh1000xm3 or etymotic earphones
>hes still shilling t2 as a bass earphone
Tbh I haven't seen a lot of bass heavy chifi sets come out. Dunno if chinks just don't tend to be bassheads or what but my options have been limited thus far especially at lower price brackets. My peacock p1s have absolutely perfect bass but those will run you $200
muh contrarian
@Tribit @Windatica I 3D printed the the plastic plate that is used to hold the ear pad, so I didn't have to tear apart my old earpads.
I printed them at 99% size and at 100% infill.
I then placed these pads over them. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32824964160.html
It works really well, and the clips actually hold it together. No glue required.
Clever
@Aqualiteking would it be expensive to get that printed?
Don't have a 3d printer myself
depends, I got them printed while I was at uni.
try 3dhubs.com
or check fif your local libraries have one
i dont even think i can get things printed at my uni
they boast having 3d printers but if it isnt for schoolwork then there's no 'official' way of getting it printed
and also the people who go to my school are morons and print the weirdest shit
Just say it's for school work
a professor has to sign off on it
Not like they can stop you
Ah
i dont think its much of a problem for me because i know the people who administrate that stuff but still, kinda shitty
Surely you have one you're on good terms with to sign off on it
Any true wireless chink iems worth it?
qcy qs2, if you trust crinacle's reviews then Jabra Elite Active 65t, Galaxy buds, if you trust bartig scarbir's reviews then Mpow T5, Tranya T3
I wonder how the qcy qs2 compare to the xiaomi airdots
btw QCY + spinfits ๐ <:alismirk:230784726615588865>
Looks like qcy have way better battery life that airdots at least
Would've been nice to have aptx though
Mpow t5 has aptx ๐ค
Maybe I'll get it on 11.11
Better battery life and aptx seem worth it
Damn only in virgin black
Whats the best replacement cable for my trn v80s, the twisty tangly piece of shit they came with is driving me bonkers
just search 2-pin audio cable on ebay
wow its so much easier to find a not autistic cable for mmcx than it is for 2pin
That's why I'm asking
all your problems can be solved by buying Tin Audio T2
No thanks
Check yellow Pages there could be an local business that does 3d printing
Cables are on the pinned messages too but I only have experience with the cheapo mmcx ones
lmao, bought sbh24 white that comes with mh755 for 8$.
is yooaudio.com legit?
uh
im going to go ahead and say no, but it might be yinyoo's official website
:-----D
Fuck I don't know if i should wait for 11.11 to get mpow t5 or just get qcy q2 already
qian69 hella good for 8usd
downside is
