so, what's good in 2020?
price/quality? tin2? is there any meaningful difference with 3rd iteration and the "pro" one?
I like this dude and his channel because calls out other reviewers as shills and has autistically good hearing and ability to detect problems
He also tries out (with his own money) way more than the standard tin t2 and KZ shit
Like pretty sure he was the first westerner to even hear about the peacock p1 at the bottom right and those are now my favorite IEMs I've ever owned
i am not so sophisticated in terms of IEMs and ear phones/headphones/earbuds, whatever people call them these days... lul
lol'd at the writings on his palm
probably, any IEM gonna be better than my current sony earbuds
Yep, probably
In general I rec KZ or tin t2 in the sub-$50 price range, but the t2 are far from the magic that people here shill them as
They're better than a $20 set of KZs but worse than a $50 set of KZ which makes them about right at 30-35
t2 vent mod kinda trash unless youre using some kinda specialty tape
too much bloat
and kz multi driver qc is garbage
I used blutack
Perfect seal made great bass
I hate to be the normie but I have been using my QCYs a lot
Same
faaeal iris 2.0 or toneking tp16?
yes i need earbuds that has mic init
I also QCU
Qcy
First wireless bud
I had a Bose budget sport earbuds but the fitting tightness destroys my ear
Alright my Urbanfun TS1 finally came in
First thing I noticed is that they are REALLY flimsy. Absolutely zero effort taken to make these things sturdy. Thin plastic, kinda rickety, but that's OK because they won't be leaving my desk area.
Second thing I noticed is that they are super quiet. My computer sound card barely gives em enough power but I'm planning on getting a USB amp anyway. Most phones will NOT have enough power for these headphones. LG V30 was fine but only when almost maxed out (which I've never had to do before)
HOWEVER - all that really matters is sound. And they sound damn good. Curiously sharp on the bass while being warm everywhere else - almost the polar opposite of my Peacock P1, which are currently my all-time favorite. But it's a nice sound. Bass and lows are elevated and mids are recessed - a v-shaped sound profile, but perhaps not as extreme as my three prior pairs of V-Moda headphones, which these are replacing.
As for comfort, they're comfortable. Simple as that. They should be really comfortable for small heads/ears as well as large ones. Part of that is due to their super lightweight (flimsy) construction, but also because the padding is pretty nice on them.
I'm going to give them a few days of listening before I post to <#491172628917256192> but I had high expectations for these and they are currently meeting them.
You going to some lengths to justify your purchase
