Ne-eewer something, 700, 800?
bm-800, sometimes rebranded as nw-800 or something of the like
should probably buy the improved, active version
my dad needs some sturdy heaphones with a decent mic (mostly for skype calls), anyone got any reccomendations (non chifi preferred)
logitech G533 (or h800 ) ? or whatever alternative hyperx has ? air ?
normaly id throw "plantronics CS520"
but if its only for random skype calls
price is overkill
logitech g533 is also pretty overkill for skype calls <:ninjaturt:499294145093959680>
yes it is
but its the "sturdy" option
:P
isnt there anything in the ~50 euro range?
and ofc added 7.1 audio wont hurt your daddy if he likes movies/music/weird surround porn
it seems like there are no good comfortable headsets that wont break in 2 weeks other than gaming ones
i mean H800 is in that range
and they will probably stay in the office
so wires are option
got it
think so
also wtf the h800 is like 90+ euros here
mmmm plantronics blackwire 3210 if your dad needs to hear his background too
(sorry i defaulted to americun prices so~
all good such is life of a filthy euro with inflated vat prices
MS livechat headsets are cheap as balls and can survive a nuclear explosion
cerakoted $1 call center headset

Anyone have experience with Meze headphones?
Just got a pair of 99 Classics
Until now my KZ ZS5s were the best audio experience I've had
Complains about audio vibrations and falls for snake oil audio memes, grabs dusty vinyl record by the grooves ๐
what happened to revonext qt-2 recommendations btw? did people realize it was shit or did something better come out? zs7?
I can vouch for the TRN IM 1 pro
Great iem for the price
The sibilance issues were solved
wow they lookin good, didn't even know about this
too bad I ordered the V80 a few days ago
v80 get a lot of attention but i see a lot of negative reviews for it
only audiobudget hyped it, I bought a pair and they're the worst pieces of garbage I've ever owned on the inside but the casing is hq
huh i saw a bunch of reviews that hyped it
I agree they're overly bassy but I don't really mind
can't decide if I like them over bass modded t2s
just buy kz
got my ZSNs
they're pretty nice
think I'll swap the tips for the Zircon tips though
Did i get double chinked, my oneaudio hedphones do not say pro on the package
got the "studio pro silver"
ahahahahaha
btw i got both normal and silver version, the only difference is the ear padding, both sound completely awesome and offer one amazing thing
you can connect your tin t2 to them, and listen with your cute boyfriend
like pic related
i m already listening with my bf to anime openings
we enjoy it very much
are these comfy ?
also what was the price written on the package
if you still have it
or bothered to check
@๐๐๐๐ ๐ฃ๐ wait hold on you mean you can connect another set of headphones into the 3.5 on them when you're using the 6.5 to put audio through to them and it'll have sound in both?
I've had these for 2 years and I had no idea ~~not that I've ever had a reason to try doing that~~
that is good to hear
yeah i was hella lucky too, they became pretty tough on china, but mine arrived from "estonia" that is maybe how it did not end up taxed.
yes you can do exactly that, it is super comfy for mountain trip (in train sharing)
my got same package, as @Tribit i wonder if there is sound difference between that and black pro with the pro black box.
It's just packaging
same headphones
good to hear, i mean also the right and left is not marked inside shells, but that is minor detail
tbh from the 2 versions i got, standard one is more comfy
because the larger foam does not distrubute the weight right, it does get very "top heavy" with the "pro" version and does not fit so well
when it comes to music, both have very nice bass and sound fun, but sounds in the non pro version are sharper, maybe just because of the shell, if someone told me there is no other difference, i would believe him
I'm not running it on something super fancy, just 20$ external audio card
but end effect is that "pro" version is less tiring for longer listening sessions, buth both are purchase i'd recommend
not chifi but fidelio x2hr for $140 https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826138361&ignorebbr=1
only ships to canada tho :(
x2 is shit
Black version went to my friend for 50$ superlux 662hd evo went to my mom for bread with blueberry jam and i m keeping the fancy version that does look like something made of cheapest plastic avaible, but color scheme is good match for my furniture.
What the hell does "sound fun" mean?
it means they trying to justify the purchase
Can I beat https://meh.com/ with something from Ali, or for that price should I just get the Polk?
From you I expected that tou built your own <:thvnk:332928260004642827>
@timsandtoms why is the price much lower than amazon
And for chink speakers, it's either edifier r1280t/r1280db (latter has Bluetooth) or Swan d1010 (which seems to be oos on amazon)
And speakers are a big and mostly hollow box so it's usually more cost effective to just buy locally
@Deleted User has the r1280db iirc
Are the edifier r1280t a big step up vs these?
And meh is a daily deal site, hence the crazy low price.
It's from the guy that did http://www.woot.com, pretty much to the day that his non-compete was up after Amazon bought Woot.
@timsandtoms dont think u can beat the polk for 40$ lol
do you have to have passive speakers?
these are well reviewed fwiw
65$ tho
id prob take the swan over them though
look on /r/budgetaudiophile
tho
Didn't know about that sub, thanks, I'll poke around.
@Julian @timsandtoms yes I have the 1280db
AMA
after i got active speakers, passive speakers never again.
and it is not bad idea to make your own speakers either
https://cdn.instructables.com/F0Y/IYZ7/GDRPMV2Z/F0YIYZ7GDRPMV2Z.LARGE.jpg
that 10/exciting sound
What are the grey straps for?
gay straps? For style mostly, but also to offer that authentic โข triangle sound
not chinkshit but I have a question
I need to get a mic
budget's like 70 burger bucks tops
what's the recommended option at this price point?
why are you spending that much on a mic
and bm800 or nw3u
those need meme phantom power supplies don't they
nw3u is usb and bm800 can be used with some janky converter without a supply
but yeah nw3u is a clear budget winner
also, not really planning on spending that much, it's just what I'd think is a "reasonable amount"
thanks
those mics are *plenty* for voice chat use
where to cop? goybest? amazon?
I'm not really familiar on copping mics on chinkshit sites
what country are you
bm800 + Um2/UMC22 for autism points
ausfag
a small mic would be nice
since my shoebox /bst/ is very cramped
oh
hmmmm
those mics we recommended should be used with boom arms
How much quality do you wanna get?
also cant find nw3u in aussieland
this is for burgars though
@Sdeck37 just enough to shitpost on /int/ vocaroo threads, some shitty wh40k voice acting and to chat with friends
Tbh i'd go BM800/um2 then
Check out some blue ball comparison and look if it's good enough for you
working with limited space here tbh
I might cop the nw3u
if I can find it
this it?
for some reason
from and to*
and do I need a meme phantom power supply for the nw3u
no its usb
No, that's the Plus of it
gotcha
confused the 3 with the 3u
ah fuck
they don't ship to aus
wow
no
look
I'm not that retarded yet, this is what they told me
(((they)))
nvm maybe I am retarded
they have a warehouse in the US that only ships to users in the US
I didn't see the from and to* edit
I assumed they could ship from the US to here, but they can't
<:pepeturt:499291994649133067>
yeah we tried messaging the sellers
thinking about it, shipping to the us, and from the us to aus would just be a waste of money
Get a BM800 @Hiruzen
I have no space for a phantom power unit
you can use it with janky usb converters
I think its a cable for usb power+aux cable that way
Just get the neewer
they don't ship to aus
(if you can find one)
For that price u can look for some Samson Q2U
Or used and overrated Yeti
As I understand chinkshit canโt into microphones
@soddomist thanks friend
I might just cop some blue snowball on sale or something
Your welcome friend
Blues are overpriced and overmarketed af
they're ok if you can get them for discount but for the most part yes, overpriced
Fuck the TRN BT20s are nice. Wish the controls for them made any sense though
Has anyone used bluedio t2s
I am thinking of getting one for my daily commute
What is the battery life like
@Noskcaj i was thinking of getting some, do they have any hiss, and how is the battery life?
No hiss that i've noticed, bluetooth 5.0 i think improved that a lot. I've only went 2 hours between charging, but they havent ran out on me yet
i had some bt10s and they had a lot of hiss (i dont know if it makes any difference, but i was using trn v80s)
i lost them and i wanted another BT so i was thinking of getting the bt20, but not if they were as hissy as the 10
tell me about DAC's
are they snakeoil?
in most cases yes, dacs usefullness is mostly dependant on audio source device (32bt 192000 Hz audio source vs 24bit 48000hz for example) , other determining factor if you get use is what and how your audio files itself were recorded, edited and published (how its meant to sound vs how it sounds Digital or Analog) at best dac takes digital waves and turns them into analog out (smoothening the differences) at worst it modifies the audio itself with some after effects like extra smoothening, balancing, peak cutting etc.............. and then we get to preferences, different forms of ears, music styles itself....
TLDR: considering current audio devices DAC is mostly used as amplifier instead purely Digital to Analog converter to get slightly better audio from shitty audio source where it is band-aid to repair open bone fracture at best __**so it is indeed snakeoil on any sane device**__
oi the E10K is ok
same for e07k
yeah probably equally ok, friend pay extra for dac ((upgrade))
just get the apple dongle
only $12ish
i recomend chord hugo ii as a good affordable dac
very good $/pref
Found my endgame iems
Galaxy buds
Is the Tin T2 the top choice right now ? Budget wise
yeah but if you get it for $35 for less
tbh its probably still top choice for $50, but most people got it for the $30-$35 price and view it as such
if youre interested how to get the discount
no problem friendo
my dudes, i got my pal some tin t2s for christmas, but he just now got around to trying them out, and apparently they have their polarity reversed
is there any way to fix this? or maybe some revered polarity cable i can order?
what do you mean reversed polarity?
as in left and right reversed?
if so, just switch the cable around from one side to the other
no not the left and right
hold on let me get an example
scroll down to "wiring"
and click these buttons
oh his tins center sounds like twisted is supposed to, and twisted sounds like center is supposed to
if he's got a problem like that, and he got them with ali, he could try and go for a refund
message seller first
I ordered them on 11.11 will the seller even still bother?
not sure, I've luckily never had an issue with ali before
youre not losing anything if you try
ill send a message and see what happens
is there any latest and greatest meme
T2 fren
Best meme 24/7/365
trn v80 superior
my v80s should arrive soon
hope they're good
i love them
but
you know
thats me
yea ๐คท
I'm loving the GR07s
has anyone ever tried the I-into i8?
i picked some up for a lark and they have the most ridiculous bass of any iem ive tried
according to the listing they explode
Blow up eardrum dear friend
