They said on NPR that a record number of Democrats are running in Alabama
@Den Yeah, the news is that many more Democrats all over the country are running for a limited amount of nominations...I think that can backfire on them
the next few months are primary season
progressive democrats and moderate democrats will be at each others' throats
not to mention progressives attacking each other for not being progressive enough

From what Iโve heard Macron is pretty cool though.
People in France and around the world are a lot more okay with Marion Le Pen, the woman who opposes abortion, immigration, gay marriage, and so on.
She doesn't make it virtually explicitly a racist/nationalist campaign and she probably isn't even racist, just nationalist.
And more importantly, traditionalist.
Macron is still awful. He's cracking down on legal immigration but not illegal immigration, and he's cracking down on shit like disrespecting women too.
It was between a Literal Communist (Jean-Luc Melanchalon), Another Socialist (Benoit Hamon), A Centrist controlled by kikes (Emanuel Macron), Some typical Right winger (Francois Fillon), And Marine Le Pen.
Hamon wasn't even in the contest.
He was never expected to get 10%.
Fillon was the early anti-Le Pen candidate but eventually he got hit by a scandal and lost favor to Macron.
And then Macron was able to take all of Hamon's remaining support and much of Fillon's.
And what about Melanchalon?
Melenchon was doomed to third or fourth place.
Especially once Macron rose to the top
His only chance was to pick off Fillon.
His supporters were nutcases though
