Advanced Micro Devices Inc. (AMD) shares were up 0.4% to $14.43 on Thursday morning, after the stock jumped nearly 10% on Wednesday as the market digested news of its latest microchip release, Epyc.

Analysts began to weigh in on the company following the chip's unveiling.

BMO Capital Markets, which has an "outperform" rating and $15 price target on the company, is in a wait and see pattern with the company, with analyst Ambrish Srivastava saying, "In our view, launching Epyc CPU in a timely manner is AMD's first major step in the right direction in the company's goal in capturing double-digit share in the data center CPU market."

However, the firm also said that it would wait for independent benchmarks to be published before coming to any conclusions on the chip's potential penetration.

Canaccord Genuity meanwhile raised the company's price target to $20 from $17, anticipating that the chip will add $100 million in revenue this year while modeling for $1 billion in revenue by 2020. The firm maintained its "buy" rating on the company.

State legislators in Texas, Alabama and South Dakota this year passed new laws allowing adoption or foster parent agencies to refuse service to LGBT families. A new Kentucky law would allow student organizations at state schools to block LBGT people from membership.

California’s Democrat-dominated legislature passed a measure last year barring state-funded travel to states that allow discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity.

Already, the law has blocked employee travel to four other states — Kansas, Mississippi, North Carolina and Tennessee.

An Illinois man has been charged after posting online several times that he wants to assassinate President Donald Trump.

U.S. Secret Service Special Agent Vincent Pescitelli said in a criminal complaint that Pickett "did knowingly and willfully make a threat to take the life of, to kidnap, and to inflict bodily harm" against Trump on Facebook.

The posts included frequent profanity as well as detailed death threats to the president. After making the online threats, Pickett also posted several times that he was "still waiting" for the Secret Service to come arrest him.

"Please call the Cops on me now so I have an,excuse to use my firepower .... AR 15, AK 47, s and w 40, Sig sauer 9 mm. Oh I'm so afraid of the police now..," he wrote.

Pickett will be detained until a trial because the court can't ensure the safety of other people in community due to "mental instability," according to court documents.

It was not immediately clear who was behind the plot to attack the mosque, but the Islamic State group, which wants to establish a theocratic caliphate ruled according to strict Islamic law, had in the past carried out attacks in the kingdom.

In May last year, Saudi security forces shot dead two alleged Islamic State fighters outside Mecca, and two others blew themselves up outside Mecca.

That’s when the 15-year-old girl chased after the woman and allegedly poured two pots of burning hot water onto her, leaving her flailing. Ramirez and Palencia were then able to get the woman into her bedroom again and raped her, the victim said.

During the rape, the 15-year-old allegedly ransacked the woman’s home, while one of her children walked into her bedroom and witnessed the rape by the illegal alien and Palencia.

After the robbery, assault and rape, the woman called the police as the teens fled her home. Now, Ramirez and Palencia are being held at the Gwinnett County Jail, which has an agreement with federal immigration officials to effectively turn over suspected criminal illegal aliens to ICE.

Now the user is apologizing, writing in a lengthy post on Reddit that he does not advocate violence against the press and expressing remorse there and in an interview with CNN for other posts he made that were racist and anti-Semitic.

The apology came after CNN's KFile identified the man behind "HanA**holeSolo." Using identifying information that "HanA**holeSolo" posted on Reddit, KFile was able to determine key biographical details, to find the man's name using a Facebook search and ultimately corroborate details he had made available on Reddit.

Authorities on the ground told WTVA in Tupelo, the plane was an Military C-130 out of Memphis with eight people on board. So far, four bodies have been recovered.

The Minneapolis police officer who shot and killed a woman on the city’s south side over the weekend has been identified as Mohamed Noor.

Sources tell WCCO-TV that Damond called 911 over a possible assault, and when Noor and another officer arrived at the scene in a squad car, she spoke to them near an alley. At some point, Noor, who was in the squad’s passenger seat, reached over and shot Damond.

Although Noor and the other officer were wearing body cameras, they were not turned on during the shooting, the BCA said. Also, the squad’s dashcam camera didn’t capture what happened.

Noor was the first Somali-American officer to join the Minneapolis Police Department’s 5th Precinct team. He joined the department in March 2015. Before that, he worked in property management.

The Government is planning to reform gender identity rules to make it easier for people to choose their own gender in law.

Under plans being considered by ministers, adults will be able to change their birth certificates at will without a doctor’s diagnosis, while non-binary gender people will be able to record their gender as “X”.
Changes to the law will be consulted on and will ultimately be included in a planned Gender Recognition Bill, set to be published in the autumn.

Under current laws – established in 2004 – a person who wishes to transition must apply for a Gender Recognition Certificate. This requires a doctor's diagnosis of gender dysphoria and that someone spend two years of living as a member of the opposite gender.

Soon after Imran began working for Wasserman Schultz in 2005, four of his relatives appeared on the payroll of other Democrats at inflated salaries, but Democratic staffers said they were rarely seen at work. They collected $4 million in taxpayer salaries since 2009.

Khuram Butt, 27, taught Koran classes at Eton Community School in Ilford, East London, an independent Islamic school for children aged three to 11. It is suspected that he used the classes to expose pupils to his extremist beliefs.

Just two months before the terror attack, the school was inspected by Ofsted and given a glowing report, which even commended how teachers had fulfilled their obligation to spot and halt extremism in pupils.
