Anyone have a shop setup in there apartment? I am in college and would like to do some things but don't have room for equipment that would make things easier.
If it's not going to be tiny or unpowered, invest in soundproofing.
im a hs senior and don't have a ton of space, but hand tools are about all I can store. I just have a couple of boxes that where I keep everything, organized based on intended application. ofc, my dad has all the power tools I could want, with few exceptions, but I have learned to live with out them as I intend to leave for college soon.
I'd say my tools take up about 6-10sq/ft, so I can keep em at the bottom of my closest.
for a workspace, I just find a space outdoors. it sucks, but that's what I got.
Yeah, I hadn't thought about that, if I could find somewhere to store the stuff in my tiny one bedroom apartment when not in use, I could work on the landing for the stairs because I'm top floor anyway. I've never used it but I know there is a power outlet out there.

Did this job yesterday for work. A nice before and after from the soupy mess to nice working area. Just in time for about 1100 head of cattle to come in.
