Just letting the channel become an echo chamber is a failing strategy in the long run.

In part because if it's something like language learning there's another reason for people to get involved.

Like, suppose you're a right-leaning CEO. If your company steps out of line a bunch of SJW activists show up and start issuing threats. Now there's a left-leaning admin just under you looking to usurp you.

What options do you have?

Now suppose you're a lefty CEO who implements a new SJW policy. No complaints. The right-leaning admin under you has not capital and can't actually do anything so he just stays silent to avoid exposure.
