and, well, it is a hostel
Japan
To be fair, the right wing tends to hide itself in public and I know people will toe the leftist line in public.
Most of em' were probably college age too amirite?
Righties do when they're in certain places
yes
Again, the goal of the movement. Eventually they want the resistance to just give up.
tech sector is fucked up too
maybe this is why I see it more
Everything is.
nah, Tech people are extreme left
I was at a job fair and the defense contractors were advertising all their diversity initatives.
And all the people they had at the booth were all very SJW left
even in Japan, big companies have the "Diversity" part on their mission
The fundamental issue is that the right has zero understanding how to organize and even less on doing so in the cultural sphere.
gaming became very righty though
same with anime
Like, suppose you're a right-leaning CEO. If your company steps out of line a bunch of SJW activists show up and start issuing threats. Now there's a left-leaning admin just under you looking to usurp you.
What options do you have?
Now suppose you're a lefty CEO who implements a new SJW policy. No complaints. The right-leaning admin under you has not capital and can't actually do anything so he just stays silent to avoid exposure.
And then all the righties go whine on our little news and politics servers and lists and achieve nothing.
but theres a thing where the right wins
that the left doesnt expect
the left is used to attack the religious right
and they think there's nothing else
so they usually aren't prepared to attack "the deviant" (from their PoV)
this is how they get normies though.
"Are you into freedom? Ur a liberal"
"Are you atheist? You're a liberal"
"You don't like politics and use common sense? You're a liberal"
I disagree. I think they tend to win normies because they control all the platforms and tend to gang.
The left fundamentally understands social sciences and influence.
Like, the marxists have been debating how to seize and manipulate power for over a century now.
It's pretty well established the left controls all the soft sciences where this stuff gets studied.
And I know uni programs dedicated to mass persuasion on things like Climate Change.
The tactics are literally lab tested.
they took advantage of the religious right. They claimed (to a point), the scientific side and the atheists side
Jacobin launched a second magazine a mere year after it got popular. The purpose of the second mag? tactics.
Maybe. I'm of the stance that the loss of the religious right is actually going to be a big problem going forward.
they didnt adapt to it
The libertarians and (left wing democratic) liberals have long complained about an inability to effectively organize and a tendency to splinter whenever issues came to be discussed.
I think these groups are converging to "the right"
they dont know how to lure atheists
I don't know. I think they're pushing them away at this point.
