I've for the longest time said that no amount of massacres and terrorism will wake people up by itself, as long as they have no alternative and they've got the media telling them it's all fine. People in the USSR had dozens of their relatives shot and had to eat their shoes to survive, but hey, if Pravda tells its alright, how bad can it really be? People will only act, when they are offered an alternative, shown that there's a possibility for another sort of life and future.

and he lives in the south
